We had a great week here! The location was perfect. We really enjoyed the pool; it is a great size with lots of chairs and tables. The shelf was a perfect spot for our youngest to sit and play. My kids loved all of the wildlife in and around the pond, geese, ducks, herons, turtles and fish that jumped constantly! The grill and tables were great to use for lunch and jumping back in pool. Beach access was 2 min away and the playground we visit when we come was less than 10. The kitchen is very well stocked. I was so glad to see plastic kid bowls and plates. There was plenty of cookware. We sat on the deck upstairs and relaxed in the early morning and evening. There is a gate to close off the stairs so that was helpful with young kids. The house is nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The only negatives (that will not deter me from renting again honestly) are that the washing machine and AC are incredibly loud. There was no doing laundry at night, I tried to make sure we would be mostly outside when it was on. When the AC came on, it felt great but conversation or TV volume definitely had to go up to compensate. The house is older so the doors do stick and can be hard to close. We had an issue our last night and had to call maintenance out to help. When were finally able to get through, a person came quickly and was friendly and efficient in correcting our problem. It was an after hours call, so the we had to use the emergency number who basically just tried to take a message for when the office opened. We were finally able to get them to understand that 1) this is the emergency line, we would not call if it was not needed right away. 2) It was our last night and we needed to leave before the office opened. It's an emergency line, do not tell people to wait until the next day.That didn't really affect our stay, just frustrating in the moment. We would stay here again for sure!!
