We were slightly disappointed in the cleanliness factor however, garden city Realty was quick to come by and take care of our issues. We are excited to be staying here again in 2024. We also feel that the furniture could be updated in the living area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The place was well-maintained, clean and accommodated all 5 of us quite well. Each room having their own bathroom was a major bonus for getting ready in the evenings to go out to dinner. We all especially enjoyed the hot tub; this was a luxurious amenity my 11 year old and 13 year old. (I'm hoping the pH gets checked and maintained after each rental usage?) Also, thank you so much for the beach toys in the front closet. We forgot ours, so it was nice to use these and not have to go out and buy more. We made sure to return them so your next guests can enjoy them as well. Overall, I very much appreciate how well this property is maintained and exactly how it's shown. There were no surprises. Thank you so much!

Penthouse D Surf Master GREAT

We did have an issue with the jacuzzi, but it was fixed the same day. We are looking forward to staying there again soon.

No Hot Tub

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Surfmaster for 6 years and have always loved it. We upgraded from our normal 3 BR unit to a penthouse, because it had a hot tub and we were looking forward to it. Was about a 30% increase but we’re looking forward to our own hot tub for the adults and kids. We got a call the Friday before we went saying hot tub was broke and not going to be fixed until the day before we leave. They told me we were getting a partial refund (didn’t say how much). I explained we rented for hot tub. They didn’t have any other units with hot tub available (obviously). I also checked other options, but with one day notice nothing available. Long story short, we are back home now, was never contacted about refund/discount. Only contact was from sales saying we could reserve unit for 2025. Basically spent about a grand for a hot tub we couldn’t use. Unit was not any bigger or nicer than other 3 BR other than bigger patio and non working hot tub. We will be back to area, but probably rent through a different option.

Due to black mold in the Master Bath and the ceiling of the room with two beds - we came home very sick. Only now are we on the upswing! I was foolish not to take photographs. My husband and I have each been to the Drs twice and are on oral antibiotics and a steroid. I really would love to speak with you about the details. Please call my cell at. We loved our vacation but each day felt worse and worse. Let’s talk! We would still love to come back!

The condo was very clean and has most everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation overlooking the beach. The private hot tube was awesome and enjoyed every day/evening. We cooked a number of meals during the week and enjoyed eating out on the terrace in the evening with a nice breeze blowing. Can't wait to do it again next year!!

A Perfect Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time. The condo was in pristine condition and the huge balcony was the highlight of our stay. The HVAC kept the unit very cool and comfortable (this has always been a struggle for us), the beds were very comfortable and the living areas were very relaxing. It was nice to have our own hot tub, although, the early afternoon was too hot to use because of the sun exposure. Once the sun was shaded, that was the place to be! The only drawback of the unit was the bath tub situation. We have a young child and the glass doors on the tubs made it difficult to bathe her. The master bathroom was very very small also, there is a jacuzzi tub in there, but the room it's in is much to small to relax in to actually use.This was our second time staying in this condo and it truly doesn't disappoint. If it's available for the dates you're looking, do yourself a favor and BOOK IT. You won't regret it.

Safety and Security

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Found side door to North facing terrace open, key missing and lock jammed. Report was made within one hour after arrival (Saturday) by Wednesday morning no action was taken to fix this major Safety and Security issue. BTW we have been visiting Penthouse D for many years but will never return!
