Great for a family stay
Booking: this part was problematic and took time. I requested the property and had to do it twice as the owner didn’t respond in time. Once done it was fairly straightforward. I did want to add a third room which took some back and forth again but we got there. Checking in: the lockbox was easy to find but I should have kept the details offline as I had some problems accessing Stayz at the property. The owner was there when we arrived and he was able to verbally let me know the code while I was looking for it. Stay: the house makes for a very comfortable place to be, it’s absolutely massive. The beds were all very comfortable and our rooms were all separate so we had our own privacy. We used the outdoor space a lot with its extremely large dining and lounge space, great to have the fans out there too as it was very warm on arrival. The large lounge room was great to retire to at night also. The house is on the older side but still in good shape. Location: this was probably the disappointing part for me as it’s a hike down to the water and you can’t see the water at all when you’re sitting in the outdoor space. The photos made it look like it was on the doorstep to the river but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Overall: great house, beautiful property and it’d be great for a family stay as it has everything you could possibly need. At $990 for two nights for 3 people it’s quite expensive and for that price it would have been nice to see some breakfast provisions and coffee pods or even just some bread, butter and packet spreads. The milk frother on the coffee machine didn’t work and the fan in the main room makes a loud clicking sound when it’s on. Overall it’s a lovely house and made it very easy to catch up with the family while we were there.

Nice property, isolated, beautiful gardens. India was easy to communicate with. When an unexpected issue which was out of her control occurred she made sure to address things rapidly. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Property large enough for a very large group.

It doesn’t get better
The Riverland at its finest. Plenty of room; indoors and out. The kitchen supplies were outstanding. Quality pots and pans. Big pots so we could cook up a big feed for several people. Clean. Comfortable. Great outdoor setting. The birds are an absolute joy. A birder would be entertained for hours. The native gardens a pleasure. The fruit from the fruit trees were glorious. Quiet time by the River. We were talking about returning before we left. The only real complaint was that we should have booked longer.

Australia Day Long Weekend 2021

Amazing house & garden that is right on the most beautiful stretch of the river. Perfect property for our family to catch up over Christmas & New Year. There was even a Xmas tree set up for us! Many thanks for such a lovely stay.

Great spot
We had a wedding planned at Woolshed Brewery but due to covid was cancelled. We decided to still go up and have a weekend away with our friends and the spot was amazing! We all enjoyed it so much. The house is lovely with picturesque gardens surrounding. We even enjoyed the limited internet reception and having a online break! The owner is great and answered all my questions and had overall good communication with me. We will all be back for sure!!!

We stayed at Templeton for 2 nights during our wedding. Friday night was just us girls and Saturday night was with the bridal party. The house is so big and spacious and the views are just outstanding! The house was very clean and all amenities were fantastic. India always responded super quick with any queries or questions. A perfect getaway
This is a gorgeous house. Perfect for a family with four teens. Parents at one end or the house and teens the other with own bathroom etc. We loved the grounds and whilst it was quite wet while we were there, we had plenty of room to hang out as a family. We will defiantly be back

Perfect in every way.
Immaculately clean and well presented property with quality furnishings & amenities throughout. It was perfect for our family gathering to celebrate my mum's birthday, especially the outside entertaining area complete with 2 BBQs, outdoor fridges, overhead fans (& heaters) and ample seating. It was very cold when we arrived but inside it was nice and toasty as the heat banks were on much to our appreciation. We had our dog Cherry with us and she had a great time as well .All in all a great stay in a wonderful house and place.

Holidays to remember
Dear India and Phil, We were very sad leaving your gorgeous place. The house was warm and comfortable. The surroundings are magnificent! So much to see and do! Kids loved the trampoline and gazing at the stars. The only disappointment was that we didn't catch any fish...and that the 2 nights wasn't enough. Definitely will be back for longer. This property was fantastic for all of us...3 couples plus one..good bedrooms...probably could do with another bathroom but we all managed very well...fantastic home for a large group of friends/family to hang out plus have your own space...also we were able to take our dog..otherwise we would not have been a been able to stay here. We wish the owner well with his business going forward..so much work has gone in to the garden as well...wonderful 3 night stay..thank you

The house, property, gardens, location... all absolutely perfect. Such a peaceful setting. I could have happily stayed for a month haha. Phil is friendly and approachable, and does a fantastic job with the house. Its within easy walking distance to the Woolshed where we held an event and we were able to return to the house and relax afterwards with no hassles. Could not have been better. I'll definitely have to stay again.

We were blown away upon our arrival at Templeton, online photos don’t do it justice! The house was perfect for a group of 10, from toddlers to teenagers and adults. The garden was a joy to wander around and enjoy the views and all your hard work. The path leading to the river was the icing on the cake, a safe spot for the little kids to swim and sandy like beach to enjoy a picnic on. We will be back we thoroughly enjoyed it, one of the best holiday houses we have stayed in.

This was our second visit at Templeton and just as good as the first time. As it was such a terribly hot day we were allowed to arrive at noon. The airconditioning had been switched on for us and the house was cool and welcoming. The outdoor entertainment area is perfect for casual eating.

Having a little boy who is 12, brain damage can’t walk or talk.. finding somewhere is very hard. This was perfect, spacious, Foxtel music on tv to calm my son. Clean, friendly owner, coffee tea milk provided, it’s quiet in the middle of no where ( shop is 10 min away ) it’s perfect. You can be free, relax, cook on the bbq, the garden is just so relaxing and it’s like home away from home. We will definately be coming back. The only thing is there’s no phone service or internet so I couldn’t contact my dog sitter! There is a phone provided though. I couldn’t think of anywhere more serene and perfect. The owner Phil is just so understanding and kind THANK YOU ❤️

Fantastic property, great location
My family really enjoyed our stay at Templeton on Murray. There was so much room and everything was top notch. My Grandchildren loved the Trampoline, we loved the outdoor area with the fridge right there, big TV and lounge. The Woolshed Brewery right next door was a great place to visit. luckily we didn't have to drive home, lemonade at 8.1% I would thoroughly recommend it.

Templeton is a home away from home, even better! The amenities are brilliant including FOXTEL. The beds are extremely comfortable. The outdoor undercover area is simply magnificent. The surrounding orchard is lovely to walk around and in season fruit to pick and eat. Highly recommend this place for large groups of people to celebrate and relax.
