The sister hotel doubletree was closed for refurbishment so the pool/splash pad/restaurants on that side were not in service. Dissappointing as we were not informed of this during booking with expedia. Due to it being closed- the guests from that side came to our side resulting in long waiting times and busy buffet meals. Staff were rushed. Rooms are dated, and furniture looks tired. Outdoor lazy river was only highlight.

Das beste Hotel in Muscat, wenn man Ruhe, eine schöne Poollandschaft und wunderbares Meer sucht! Es hatte wegen des Irankrieges wenig Touristen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Unser Room Attendent Anu sowie die Crew beim Morgen- und Abendessen super ! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt BRAVO 👏

Globally a very good experience especially when it comes to diversity and quality of the buffet, one of the best we ve ever tried. Staff was also very pleasant. Still we faced 4 regrettable challenges: * No hot water in shower for 2 days (slow fix) * Swimming pool river really dirty * indoor car/seat found damaged on the last day (probably due to the heat what suggest that car was unfortunately parked outside) * A faulty extra 50 OMR invoicing at checkout (it took time to the staff to identify & fix the issue and fortunately we did our own calculation before checking out)

Amazing stay with breathtaking views! This hotel is spectacularly located between the mountains and the beach, offering absolutely stunning views. The setting alone makes the experience unforgettable. What truly made the stay special, though, were the people — everyone was incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. I only stayed for three days, but I completely fell in love with Oman and would definitely come back for a longer stay. The spa was exceptional — I had one of the best massages of my life, right by the beach, with the sound of the ocean in the background. It was pure relaxation and an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

A Beautiful and Romantic Escape with One Major Drawback(F&B) The hotel’s location is about a 30–40 minute drive from central Muscat. While this may not suit everyone, I actually found it to be one of its greatest strengths. The peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking sea views, and romantic setting make it a perfect place to relax. Renting a car is definitely worth it, and the drive to the city is easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself is excellent. The architecture is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the amenities are of a very high standard. Everything feels modern, comfortable, and well maintained. I would happily give the hotel, rooms, and facilities 5 stars. The staff were another highlight of my stay. Every team member I met was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. They also deserve 5 stars. The TV was an older model that lacked modern smart features. It was not possible to connect a phone or laptop wirelessly—you had to use a cable—and it didn’t even include basic apps such as YouTube or an internet browser. For a hotel of this standard, upgrading the TVs would significantly improve the guest experience. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the food and beverage experience. For a resort of this quality, having only one restaurant with a very limited menu is disappointing. After a couple of days, the lack of variety became frustrating. Definitely I will visit, but never eat in Hilton!

This used to be my favourite hotel in/around Muscat, but the price just far exceeds the value now. The pools are great; though unfortunately, despite being informed at check-in that we had access to all the pools, a significant section of the pool was in fact roped off. Because the staff at check-in did not inform/ask me if I wanted to put a credit card on file, the restaurant called my room at 8:30pm to inform that someone would come to my room immediately so I could pay for dinner (which I’d assumed I could charge to my room). Inconvenient as my children were in bed already. The food in the main restaurant was of high quality as I’ve always found. But not a single item was identified for allergens. It was also astonishing to be charged 26 riyal for a 12 year old vegetarian to eat from the buffet when there was little available to him besides salad and rice. At 11:30am I was called on my mobile to inquire when I would be checking out (checkout was supposed to be noon) which felt so rude & unprofessional - especially since the hotel seemed virtually empty! A largely disappointing experience.
