The staff were good about accommodating my special requests. Housekeeping service was spectacular. Room and hotel were clean. Room was spacious. Staff were friendly. However, it was not a perfect stay and I'm tempted to take a star off. The hotel did not respond to my Expedia message. I also asked for a hand towel, and the response was because i'm in a single standard I only get one towel. This was not a welcoming gesture. An extra towel is such a small thing to make a customer happy. Fortunately they gave it to me without issue. I also didn't receive water on one day, and when I asked for it I was questioned. Again, one small bottle of water is a small thing to make a client happy. But despite these, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Our stay at Muscat Inn was reasonably good. The staff are exceptional and very helpful. Any issues in the room was always dealt with quickly and with much kindness. Great views and big rooms! We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the team at Muscat Inn Hotel. We will be back one day.

Comfortable hotel for your stay in Muscat

Nice, wide and comfy room. Helpful staff. Now you can pay with credit card. Several restaurant/supermarkets within 10 min walking. Enough parking space in the area. Close to the highway (accessible) but no noise.

The hotel was good but not great. The good: Not super expensive at about US$40/night. Proximity to certain attractions like Sultan Qaboos mosque, the two malls and the airport itself. The bad: The bathroom fittings were rusty and broken. Many times, hot water simply did not come. Lack of good dining options nearby. The restaurant in the hotel only serves breakfast and dinner.

Sijainniltaan hyvä, hotellin läheisyydessä on mm Sultan Qaboosin Moskeija sekä useampikin iso ostoskeskus. Yleiset tilat voisi olla viihtyisämmät ja hotelliin saapuessa ainakin oman kerrokseni käytävillä oli kuvottava haju. Olen tottunut siihen, että huoneeseen tuodaan päivittäin vesipullo ja katsotaan onko tarvetta lisätä kahvia/teetä ym, täällä se tapahtui vain kun erikseen pyysi huoneen siistimistä. Käsipyyhe vessassa olisi myös tarpeen, tapana näkyy olevan jättää vain kylpypyyhe.

The hotel was very clean . The AC was working perfectly and had no issues with the temperature . The kettle for tea and coffee was very clean and I was able to use it . Staff were friendly and greeted each time we entered and exited the lobby area . I would recommend it to friends and will definitely book this hotel in the future . Thank you !

Muscat Inn is a new two stars hotel, but you’ll receive 5 starts compliments and services there... It’s a good choice and value for the money you spend... 1. The receptionists are extremely polite and kind. They’ll assist you and help what you need. 2. The room is spacious, enough big and comfortable. They clean the room everyday on request and recharge coffee, 2 bottles of water, toiletries, ... which you can’t find such great service in other hotels. 3. They assist you to get a taxi by software, cheaper than private taxi... You may reach to Grand mall with just 1.5 OMR and to the airport with 2.5 OMR. 4. Their breakfast serves 7~10 am, very delicious and you’ll find some delicious Indian and foods and local foods include... This breakfast buffet is really valuable, 5. Although the hotel is placed close to the Sultan Qaboos Highway, but there is not very noisy. 6. In one word, you’ll feel at home while stay in this hotel and even guests are polite!!!

Muscat Inn Hotel is easy to find, in the centre of Muscat - but remember Muscat is long and thin - so perhaps almost mid way between Airport and Harbour is a better description. It faces the very busy Sultan Qaboos Street but is adequately soundproofed. It is clean but the winning part is the warmth of the friendliness be it the restaurant manager (they only do breakfast, at present) to Kumar on the front desk. It is well sited for Sultan Qaboos Mosque and the Grand Mall - we walked there. But the real gem and not widely promoted, is Mohammed Al Almeen Mosque - the White Mosque - only open until 11am, Walkable from the hotel (or cheap taxi ride). When we went, we were the only visitors! It is stunning. Do remember it is a two star hotel, so don't expect gourmet breakfasts (good but not fabulous) and that you might need to run the water a while for hot. But then again, such a good price.

Amazing! Recommended!

Picked this hotel for an affordable price. It is a new build hotel but really worth each penny! Great cost vs. benefits. The location of this hotel is at a safe area, I found it convenient. Near the airport (OR2 taxi), Straight road to Mutra area (OR5 taxi), plus there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel, 10 minutes walking (right side) to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (visits only in the morning!) It is an example that a great manager makes all the difference in a hotel! I had an initial issue with wifi in my room, the Manager immediately sorted it out and other good example during my good stay. Hotel’s staff is very polite and helpful too. They referenced me to Otaxi app (like an Oman’s Uber). The rooms are new, very clean, quiet, non-smoking and finished to a good standard. Astonishing views. Such a comfy bed! Good shower and a nice balcony. The lobby makes for a nice area to sit and relax. The breakfast you choose what you want to eat, they cook it at the moment for you. It is really good! Concluding, I had a really good stay at Muscat Inn. For sure I will go back there as leisure or business. Highly recommend Muscat Inn.

Modern Facilities and Pleasant Room Ambience

New hotel with modern decor and pleasant room ambience. Building is in a local neighborhood within walking diestance of Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. My room faced the main highway, however an airtight seal on the balcony door maintained a quiet atmosphere. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful and parking spaces are available outside the hotel’s entrance. I visited Muscat for tourism, however this hotel would also be excellent for business travelers.
