The home was clean, appeared as advertised, and had everything we needed (plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, etc). Communication from the hosts was excellent - clear, friendly, and timely. 「If you’re just using this home as a base for things like Grand Haven, Lake Michigan, Michigan’s Adventure, this is a great place. Lots of space for multiple families. Outside of home needs a lot of TLC including backyard. Inside was clean but beds were old and couches were pretty uncomfortable. Didn’t use the kayaks as the launch point is a couple blocks walk and didn’t want to deal with that.」

「This house is fantastic, the location is super close to town but away from others. You can still hear the traffic, but if you look up river, all you see is a stunning wetland river ecosystem and a sweet old railroad bridge. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck over the river, saw a pair of mallards, swans, Canada geese, a turtle and a water snake in just a short time frame. The house was comfortable, and meet our needs.」
