The room overall was ok, nothing special. It was very cramped for 4 people. When we arrived, the shower faucet was still running from when they cleaned it I'm assuming. The shower is definitely not made for people taller than 5ft. I had to bend down just to get under the shower head and I'm 5' 11". The shampoo bottle was broken as well. We were only given two towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people to last 5 days. There is no housekeeping while you are there, so they don't replenish anything. Also we were given one tiny trash bag to last the week. Because there is no housekeeping, everyone just piles up their trash outside their doors. I saw the same trash sitting outside for days. One thing that really annoyed me is the code to get in the door is 10 digits long, how am I suppose to memorize that. I had to have the code with me every time I left the room. They had a key lock with a key in it, but I wasn't given a code to get it out.
As for the hotel, the staff couldn't stop eating to answer my questions. The hot tubs were down the whole time, one was completely empty and the others were waiting on electricians apparently. The outdoor pool was down for most of the day during one of the days we were there. They had hazard tape put around all over the place like it was a crime scene. The elevators are so hot and sound very rough. A couple times the doors got stuck and wouldn't close. Parking is horrendous and cramped for anyone with a truck. They only have one level in the parking garage that has a ramp to load and unload your belongings.
Then the lifeguards wouldn't let you do anything. I understand they are there to keep people safe, but they wouldn't let you go out more than 20ft. They wouldn't let me use my beach tent, even though I saw other people being allowed.
The website and emails said check out is 10am, but the door in the room says 11am, so that was confusing.
Overall the place was just ok, I had more issues with the hotel in general than the room, but the room had plenty of issues
