設計新穎且舒適整潔的飯店
1.飯店因為才裝修完沒多久，所以非常新穎，附有現代化的設備，也是本次環島旅程中唯一住到採自動式感應大門的，對拖行李的旅客很方便，更設有無障礙設施。 2.內部環境舒適整潔，屋內隔音良好，床非常好睡，並提供L'OCCITANE的沐浴用品。 3.本次是入住2間雙床房，1間是轉角間僅有淋浴設備，另一間非轉角間則還附有浴缸。 4.房間內僅廁所有垃圾桶，一般垃圾需要自行拿到走廊上的公共垃圾桶分類丟棄。 5.屋內光線不是很充足，但大部分的冰島旅店似乎都如此。 6.房間大門很厚實又重，沒有門擋，所以拖行李進出時有點不便。 7.飯店附近有遊客中心、超市、自行車休息站及汽車加油站(附有自助洗車及打氣設備)，都在步行5分鐘的距離內。

The first night we looked at the lake but also the road so there was a lot of road noise. The second night they moved us to look at the church and it was wonderful, no noise at all. The hotel needs to put soft close hinges on their doors because everytime someone closes their door it shakes your room. The dining room for dinner was great.

After staying in hostels for a week this was heaven. So nice to stay at a hotel. The staff was so nice!!! The front desk agent was awesome!! (I forgot his name i'm so sorry but he's from spain and has moved around quite a bit and plans to go back to spain eventually!!!) he was so nice!!!! I enjoyed our stay so much! The restaurant breakfast was amazing.

We last minute booked as are original stay we were in able to get to due to the weather. The staff were super helpful and got us a room and upgraded us to have a view. The hot tubs were super clean and amazing after a travel day. The breakfast was so great, I am gluten free and asked if they had any options, the server told me yes if I can wait 10 minutes. He brought me fresh bread and a few minutes later brought out fresh baked pastries too. Not many places are very accommodating so this was so appreciated. Definitely recommend this place as the staff are amazing, foods great, and the rooms are nice/clean.

Das Hotel war sehr schön und sauber. Wir haben ein Upgrade erhalten. Das Zimmer war schön groß und perfekt für zwei Tage. Es gab sogar eine Weckruf-Liste für die Nordlichter. Die Lage war praktisch für die Aktivitäten in der Nähe des Myvatn. Und es gab zwei schöne Hot Tubs. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und höflich. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Wir würden auf unserer nächsten Reise wieder vorbei kommen.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön, wir hatten das Glück ein Zimmerupgrade zu bekommen. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl. Für die Erkundung der Umgebung ist das Hotel auch gut gelegen. Einige wenige Restaurants befinden sich in der Nähe. Das Personal empfanden wir im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels leider nicht so freundlich. Ich kenne es, dass man grüßt wenn man an der Rezeption vorbeigeht, das war selten. Vielen anderen Reisenden wurde auch nicht erzählt, dass es Bademäntel an der Rezeption gibt. Sonst sind die hot tubs im Hof sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Really good location close to the main road. Room was very comfortable, shower was good too! View for the Mývatn lake was amazing! Good size of the room. Restaurant Myla was really good for dinner and good options for breakfast. Staff was nice and helpful. Definitely will stay here when return to Iceland.

Perfekte Lage um die Umgebung rund um den Mývatn zu erkunden. Der "Abenteurer Stil" der Lobby hat mir gut gefallen. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber und gut ausgestattet. Für das Restaurant sollte man einen Tisch reservieren, Essen war gut aber etwas teuer. Es gibt außerdem einen Polarlicht-Service, der einen bei Sichtung in der Nacht anruft.

Hotel was very cute! They seemed short staffed in the bar/restaurant and I felt pressured into getting the breakfast at a “discount” upon check-in. I caved and it wasn’t worth it. The rooms are very cute and comfy though.

We thought the hotel would be great from the reviews. But when we got there the hotel was nice at first a bit too modern in the hallways. I thought the room numbers were a bit on the ugly side. But I digress. The main issue I had with the hotel was the resteraunt. We had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience. The kitchen was understaffed that night. And there was just one waiter. We were not told this when we sat down. As we would have left if we knew this. As our main food dish took 1 hour and 50 minutes to get to us. And our water was empty for 45 minutes while asking for refills 5 seperate times. Now I understand, this isn’t the waiters fault. It’s a result of the kitchen being under staffed. But still frustrating when we weren’t told them were essentially trapped into waiting. Not knowing when our food would arrive. Then when it did arrive my wife and I ordered the beef tenderloin, and it was over cooked and dry. Badly. And we had to send it back because it was too bad. Drinks were very expensive too. Almost 30$ usd a drink. All in all our experience took 3 hours start to finish and we left unsatisfied and annoyed. They did remove the charge for the beef tenderloins we did not eat But we weren’t given a discount for the inconveniences, or an apology or an explanation as to why everything took so long. And that was kind of frustrating as well.

Myvatn is a special place. Hotel was very pricey. We had a problem with our room, it was too hot, uncomfortable, even with heat off. And it was cold out, not sure what they do in summer. Staff was great and found a nearby room for us to move to. Inconvenient doing so but grateful we could. Loved, loved, loved the outdoor "hotpot" or hot tub. Wind whistling, rain falling it was wonderful & peaceful. Breakfast included with hotel stay was very, very nice, so much high-quality, homemade authentic Icelandic food. Thank you!
