I am very supprise to have this experience in Japan.
First for the check-in, the lobby staff is not very friendly. He seemed pretty supprise to have us checking-in coz this Hotel bassically is all filled with tour groups.The manager was too busy on other stuff and she didn't care about our check-in.
For the room condition, as it is not a new hotel so I do not have a high expectation. However, a stinky bathroom that smell like pee is really unacceptable. The design of the room is very stange, the sockets are located at the otherside of the room and there is no socket around the bedside table, so basically I left my phone on the floor all night for charging while I sleep.
We chose this hotel coz we have a early flight to catch and we only spent less than 8 hours in this room. We were too tire to complain and ask for a room change.
The next morning, all the elevators were filled with tour groups coming down from higher level, so we couldn't get down to the lobby. (We were at the middle floor, there were like 12 levels in total.) After the 6th try we decided to take the elevator up while it's empty.
Do not miss the morning lobby scene, I was so shocked to see at least 200 people waiting to get on their tour busses there. There is a breakfast included in the lobby and it is just impossible to eat in this kind of condition. We end up skipping this breakfast and go stright to the airport.
Just terrible.
