The staff was very friendly and check in was seamless. The room was clean and we had no issues when asking for extra towels/blankets/etc. Check out was quick and easy by just dropping the keys in the drop box out front. Will definitely consider this place again for a stay in Nags Head.

I can’t say enough positive things about this motel! The property is in the perfect location right on the beach and close to everything. The property has also been renovated, the rooms are nice, clean, and I loved all the outdoor seating and grills guests can use. I also loved that the property is so dog friendly and everyone who worked there is extremely helpful and friendly! This is definitely our new go-to spot for relaxation! I highly recommend!!!!

All staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the ac unit kept the room cold. Right on the beach too so you dont have to drive anywhere. Pets are also allowed! Be respectful and clean up after them to keep the grounds clean. Definitely recommend

Old school property. Right on the beach. Very quiet even though cars are parked right by rooms. People are quiet around you. Management is on property 24 hours a day. Beds are comfortable and shower is hot. Very clean property. Staff was friendly. Near all the good restaurants. Close to everything

We arrived after hours, and Jim made sure we had what we needed and for our arrival to be seamless as possible. Our room was in excellent condition and super clean and fresh. Our bed was comfortable, seemed brand new and we had no problems! We will definitely stay at the Dolphin Oceanfront again in the future. Thanks again!

The manager was friendly when we arrived. The parking is a little tight, but we managed just fine. The rooms are fairly sound proof, or I had respectable neighbors lol only would hear dogs barking. The beach access was what brought me to this location for our large dogs that love the beach, saves me so much time cleaning my vehicle after!! And a hose to conveniently clean off before going onto your apartment. I would recommend a little heavier blanket to throw onto the beds as the sheet and top blanket were thin and I’m a cold person that likes to wrap up in a blanket while the AC cranks a cool 66! The ac worked very well too. Will definitely be rebooking here again when we plan our family trips with the dogs.
