Welcome to Ace’s Delight, a beautifully appointed home with all the amenities for a perfect Outer Banks vacation. This home has everything for your vacation needs, the staples of any stay, a private pool, and a hot tub, but Ace’s truly takes it to the next level by offering several games on-site for your pleasure and leisure. There is a pool table and shuffleboard table for friendly competition. If competition isn’t your forte, you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic or catch some rays while you lounge on the top-level sundeck. Just a short walk (1-2 minutes) to the ocean or the Nags Head fishing pier, so you get all the benefits of being right by the beach for the ocean lovers in the group. All while being tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood where your family can run, bike, or take their pets for a stroll. Grab lunch or dinner at Lucky 12 Tavern, and spend the day fishing on the Nags Head Pier, a quick walk or bike ride from Ace's. Ace’s Delight will help you create memories that will last a lifetime. We had a wonderful stay at Ace's Delight. We had the threat of hurricane Erin in the area, but we we were not affecting and had a wonderful stay. The rental management company was great. Check in was easy and when we thought my husband had left his wedding ring at the property after checkout, they were fabulous. Turned out to be a false alarm.

Ace’s Delight

Ace’s Delight really was a delight. It is the perfect beach house for a family with children 4months-8 years old. Plenty of room for all. Very neat and clean. Lots of beach accessories. The pool was perfect. Great location with walking distance to the beach and near by ice cream and coffee shops.

Best Family Vacation Ever

Ace's Delight was delightful! The house was clean and had so many amenities: a fully stocked kitchen. board games, dvds, and a closet full of beach stuff. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the pier. We loved spending the day at the beach playing and fishing than going back to relax and cool off in the pool. The pool is very large, and we were all able to hang out in it together. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to stay there again.

Week at the beach

Having rented with VRBO and other rental companies in past this was a slightly different experience. Past rentals included plenty of sheets and towels. And spices! Though this was different, the home was lovely, close to the beach, and a great space for family togetherness! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. The space was perfect. We loved the pool

We had a large group. Three families children ranging from 2-15! There was something for everyone and the house was perfect for all ages! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out when need and still come together. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for Family beach trip

The house is very spacious, clean and close to the beach! Walking distance to ice cream store and 2 restaurants. Game room with pool table was lots of fun!

Aces Delight Was Not a Delight

We rented Aces Delight in Outer Banks with a private pool. On our way to the property the night before, we receive a call from the rental company stating that the pool will not be available since the liner needs to be replaced. The owner would refund us an unknown amount based on how long it was unavailable. The pool liner installers were there on the 4th day of our stay and completed it on the 5th day. We had to deal with the workers and the liner blower fir two days of our vacation. The pool liner installers indicated we could not swim until the next day (water was extremely cold the next day since it was just filled). We had two days to use this out of seven. The owners said we had three days and gave a refund of only $300.00. I am sure everyone would rent a house with a private inground pool for that price. The floors in the house were filthy.....your feet turned black from walking on them. Noticed two cockroaches during the stay. No patio doors had screens or working screens so you were unable to leave the doors open to listen to the ocean. The house should not have been on the market that week if all amenities you paid for were not available. Informing us of this the night before arrival was very unprofessional on the part of Beach Realty Company.

Satisfied - but it needs some improvements

Liked the house for the most part. Nice location. But we had some complaints. One bedroom TV would not work, pool table room stereo/speakers did not work, all smart remotes worked intermittently. WIFI was awful, the neighbor’s house (MI Casa) had more service then our WIFI. We had to end up using hotspots on our phones for WIFI. The filters in the house were disgusting and it was affecting the A/C upstairs. We removed the filter and the realty company did come within a couple hours to replace them. The maintenance guy that came just walked in the house unannounced. Luckily I saw him pull up and was able to put my dogs away before they noticed he had entered. Horrible landscaping - grass needed to be cut, there was vines with thorns all over the ground, not ideal for a pet friendly rental. Couldn’t utilize horseshoe pit or volleyball court. Bad drainage at outdoor shower/pool. Grill was filthy, had to buy a brush to clean it. All fence latches were dry rotted/falling out. Lots of soft spots on deck. Hot tub worked but had a mind of its own.
