The resort is next to some nasty smelling rotting trash. You will have to plug your nose walking down to the breakfast area. It was lovely we when at the end of May it’s was very quiet we always got a son lounger on the beach You could quite easily go there for a week and really not leave the area

Rawai itself is a very big area but within Rawai are some lovely beaches. Nai Harn and Ya Nui being very quiet and picturesque. The roads are quite quiet near the beaches so renting a bike or a car is easy and quite cheap. Taxis are expensive.
