Great city center location!

The hotel is in the heart of Naples near the best pizza restaurant, Trianon Del Ciro. The room is not fancy nor does it need to be. It has all that is needed for a pleasant stay. The room was cleaned daily, hotel staff are friendly, caring and helpful guides. We quite enjoyed the location and will likely return.

Not the greatest place to stay. It's cheap and you can understand why (it's quite old) but the bed was confortable and the room clean. It's a bit noisy from the outside (well it's Napoli...) but we managed to sleep well. Very old tv that the receptionist didn't want to fix but he lended me a hairdryer when I asked for one. Decent hotel if you're on a budget. However, we didn't enjoy this part of Napoli.

12 giorni del mio soggiorno a Napoli al l'HOTEL DUOMO posso solo dire che il servizio e' sempre stato buono, la pulizia altrettanto,molto bravi alla resezione per aiutare uno come me che non conosce Napoli, IO personalmente non ho niente di negativo da dire, se vado a Napoli un altra volta(che spero) tornerei al l'Hotel Duomo senz'altro. Bon emplacement/prix dans le centre historique

Hotel avec comme gros point fort son emplacement dans le centre historique, accès direct par la Via dei Tribunali. Pas loin non plus de Garibaldi (pour les liaisons féroviaires - Pompéi par exemple) et de Calata Porta di Massa au bas de la via Duomo (pour rejoindre les îles en bateau). Compétitif niveau prix. Correct au niveau du confort (pas le grand luxe mais chambre propre) et des prestations (pas de petit dej, à avoir à l'esprit mais ce n'est pas un souci, au contraire, le quartier ne manque pas de bons cafés sympa qu'il faut tester). Aubergiste et accueil sympa.

Relativ Zentral gelegenes kleines Hotel.

Vom Hotel aus kann Palermo sehr gut erkundet werden. Ein Auto wird nicht benötigt. Meine Frau und ich waren drei Tage dort und konnten sehr viel von der Stadt sehen.

Nice clean hotel, but in an old building

The hotel is great from the inside with clean rooms and friendly staff. The building from outside is really old, but once you get in its okay. The hotel is located near the Duomo and Via dei tribunali, which boasts of most of the city's good eating joints. Also walking distance from the train station and ferry station.

Optimale Lage für Stadtausflüge.Mitten im historischen Zentrum. Metro in 10 min erreichbar. Einfache,zweckmäßige Ausstattung. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Kein Luxus, aber "Echtes Neapel" in der Umgebung.

Good hotel, location not ideal

The hotel was good; great staff, very clean (rooms were cleaned every day). The hotel is in a courtyard, so we felt very safe and secure. The hotel was a little old and smelt of damp, and could do with a little facelift, but for the price it had all the basics. Room was very spacious and had its own bathroom which was great for the price. The only thing that let's it down is the location, which is unfortunate for the hotel. We thought the historical part of the town would be beautiful, however we were very wrong. The place is completely run down, dirty and graffitied. I would not recommend going out alone at night. But, the hotel felt very safe and was only a 15 minute walk from the newer part of the town and the sea front, which we much preferred.

Ok hotel med fin beliggenhed

Hotellet lå godt og vi gik rundt til alle 'sights' derfra. Selve værelset var stort med mørkt og lå ud til en lille gyde, hvor der var rigtig meget larm stort set hele døgnet. De ansatte var venlig og hjalp os med et kort første dag.

hotel perfetto per chi vuole stare a due passi dal cuore di napoli: spaccanapoli, san gregorio armeno, forcella e il mitico mercato di pignasecca....tutto a piedi....pieno di locali meravigliosi e caratteristici con anche il meglio di tutto....la pasticceria scaturchio per i golosi....la pizzeria dai decumani per gli amanti della pizza, ferrigno per gli amanti dei presepi....e un sacco di posticini per pizza fritta ecc ecc....entrata della napoli sotterranea...non c'è niente di meglio. L'Hotel Duomo e' perfetto per tutte queste cose...luigi è simpaticissimo e qualsiasi informazione abbiate bisogno lui è li'. consigliatissimo......

sleeping next to Niagra

What can we say, we didn't sleep due to our en suite bathroom toilet spewing out water all night. The sound was something like sleeping next to a waterfall. Due to the early closure of the reception we could only complain the next morning. The one worded apology was just not enough and his attitude was as if it was our fault. Stay elsewhere!

Ideaal voor individuele reizigers

Het Duomo Hotel - eigenlijk een albergo dwz zonder ontbijt kan ik om de volgende redenen aanraden: het ligt midden in de oude kern van Napels in een oud pand, marmeren stoepen leiden naar de eerste verdieping. De kamers eenvoudig ingericht met badkamer, schoon, zelfs voor een single riant qua afmetingen. Sommige kamers gaan naar een ietwat luid (maar niet storend) straatje, anderen kijken uit naar een achterbinnenplaats met terasjes/bloempjes. Switchen is geen probleem. Het personeel: studenten die Engels praten. Wanneer je laat thuis komt krijg je een sleutel mee (receptie na 19.00 gesloten). Voor mij was alles voor de prijs van 40 E per nacht prima.
