The breakfast was great (although there was some confusion about it being included, 2 staff members said it wasn’t until I showed the e-mail chain and a senior member agreed it was). "This isn’t really an airport hotel, it’s more like a destination resort. The hotel itself is so clean and well maintained you would this it was grand opening week and not (I think) eight years old. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the two dinners we had in the dining room were delicious. The pool was beautiful, the rooms spacious and spotless, the bed extremely comfortable, the linens crisp and like new. We did not use the spa but I feel certain it too is amazing. As nice as the hotel property is, what makes it truly special is the staff. It seems like everyone’s mission in life is to make sure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. We stayed at 3 different fairly high end properties in Quito and this one was, by far, our favorite. I will definitely look for the EB brand on future travels. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at Suchipakari Lodge. The property is absolutely beautiful—you truly feel like you’re deep in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by nature in the most peaceful way. One of the highlights for us was the on site chocolate tour. It was not only fascinating but also delicious, and such a unique experience to have right there at the lodge. We also went tubing with our young kids, and it was both very safe and incredibly fun, something the whole family could enjoy without any stress. I also did the night walk with my 5 year old, which was such a special experience. It was fun and exciting, and we learned so much along the way. Of course, the guide was incredibly kind and patient. What really made our stay special, though, was the energy of the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, calm, and genuinely welcoming. There’s a peacefulness about the place that feels contagious, maybe it really is the jungle life. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in nature."
