“All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed.
Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there.
It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. I would not like to be arriving at night and having to find the entrance!
If there was one thing i would have liked, it……

“The hotel definitely cannot be called Grand. It was build on a pub. But it is true it has a long history, built in 1833. It is not value for the money paid. First the checkin means calling the people from pub counter to the checkin desk to give you the key. And there is no elevator at the hotel, handicapped or large suitcase people not suggest to go. For the wind change in the bathroom, it cannot be even more noisy. I booked with the most experience room category, however the bedroom is facing……

“Overall it was a nice little cabin to stay in for few days however alot of maintenance is required. The doors inside the cabin didnt close properly or lock very good, the blinds didnt close properly and were broken, the couch was broken under the seat which was awkward to sit on, and even with the heater on it was cold and drafty inside the cabin especially the bedrooms.The pool is a great size and the bbq facilities and eating area is great. The self contained kitchen was very practical……
