Charming and cozy apartment

When you arrive and see the high ceilings and large windows it gives a great feeling of spaciousness. It is very cozy and practical apartment. It has everything and is very near of Narbonne cathedral. Laura has been very kind to us and has made our stay fabulous. We will be back!!

Very well located apartment

Traditional old apartment in centre of Narbonne. It is an easy walk to Les Halles, the Cathedral, shops and restaurants. We recommend the local octopus pies with a glass of local wine. It is well worth a trip to Collioure and also the cove at Pauliles has a great walk round to Cap Bear, after the exercise the fine dining restaurant at the vineyard de Paulilles was superb reward!

Great Apartment in a Great Location

We spent 4 weeks at Laura and Johns apartment and had a wonderful time in the beautiful city of Narbonne. Would highly recommend.

Historic centre of Narbonne

The location is ideal for exploring historic Narbonne as well as ease to transit. The train station is an easy walk. The access to markets and cafes is perfect. The apartment is a restful delight to end your busy day of exploring.

A Perfect Location

This apartment is perfect in every way. It is beautifully decorated, conveniently located, and equipped with everything you need. The owner, who is fluent in both English and French, answered all our questions and provided much useful information. We greatly enjoyed our five-night stay and highly recommend this apartment for your "home away from home" in Narbonne.

Another wonderful stay at La Brigade. What a great place!

We always stay at La Brigade while in Narbonne. This was going to be our last stay there as we planned to sign the acte and move into our new apartment in Narbonne. Of course, this is France and we couldn’t move in as planned because the paperwork wasn’t right. After 10 days at La Brigade, we had to move to another rental in Narbonne. (We couldn’t stay longer as someone else had booked it after us.). We thought La Brigade was awesome, but now that we can compare it to something else, awesome doesn’t even begin to describe it. Our new rental, for about the same price, is half the size and is situated on the third floor of the building without a lift (which wasn’t mentioned in the website). La Brigade had every amenity we could possibly need; the new place didn’t come with a spatula. We love the washer and dryer at La Brigade since it makes washing clothes easy and allows us pack light. We will be looking for a laundromat soon. The bathroom at LaBrigade is roomy and the shower is great. Our new bathroom is about 2 square meters and shower doesn’t have a bracket for the removable shower head. The new place is clean but it goes without saying La Brigade is spotless. I can strongly recommend La Brigade without reservations. Wish I was there now.

Classic French Apartment

Unbeatable location in the center of Narbonne. Literally 2-3 minute walk to all of the best places in Narbonne. Beautiful apartment in a classic French building. The apartment has everything you want or need. WiFi works great and French cable TV available along with a DVD player. The shower worked great - plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment allowed us to pack lighter than usual since we could easily throw in a load of clothes before heading to Les Halles. We have a house we rent out via AirBnB so when we rent, we always try to leave the rental cleaner than when we arrived. The place was spotless when we got there and Laura (The hostess) even stocked the refrigerator with milk, water, butter, and yogurt when we arrived. That is a first for us anywhere we’ve stayed. BTW - Laura was super. She not only provided a great rental, she helped us with a slew of advice and recommendations as we looked for an apartment to buy in Narbonne. She sent me information on real estate, notaries, HVAC installers, French wills (yes if you are an American buying property in France you need a French will), and even sent me links on YouTube for French language courses. We will stay here again when we come back to Narbonne.

you only get what you pay for !!!!

The wifi did not connect. The TV did not connect. Very noisy neighborhood.....all night long ! Toilet leaked intermittently. The owners would not respond to our emails and there was no emergency numbers for assistance

Nearly a perfect place

This cozy apartment is in a prime location short blocks from shops, sites, and restaurants of Narbonne - a lovely small prosperous city under the radar. Laura could not have been a better hostess. Something to consider for some is the loft bedroom, where the head height was just low enough to learn to duck if you are 6' or more.

A quintessential French apartment in the heart of Narbonne

Absolutely perfect spot in the heart of Narbonne. When you come through the gate into a courtyard you know you are in France. Beautifully appointed apartment, from the kitchen amenities, laundry facilities to the lovely decor and loft bedroom. The photos on the website do not do it full justice, it is even more attractive in person. A short walk to most attractions, Les Halles, the Cathedral, the canal etc. Restaurants and Patisseries in every direction. We immensely enjoyed our stay. It was a great location to go out on day cycling trips and evening walks exploring Narbonne itself. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hübsches, gut ausgestattetes Appartement in zentraler Lage

Schönes Appartement mit den wesentlichen Attraktionen von Narbonne (Kathedrale, Markthallen, Restaurants und Cafés, usw.) in unmittelbarer Reichweite. Gut ausgestattete Küche, DVD- Player, Stereoanlage und Wifi. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Parken geht besser auf den öffentlichen Parkplätzen als in unmittelbarer Nähe der Wohnung. Insgesamt ist das Appartement sehr empfehlenswert.

Très bel appartement, tout équipé, très bien situé

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet appartement, décoré avec goût, tout équipé (machine à laver, sèche linge, lave vaisselle, micro ondes, climatisation. ..). Et très bien situé, au pied du centre ville, de la cathédrale et des commerces.... La propriétaire est sympathique et arrangeante.

Wonderful apartment perfect situated in Narbonne

Clean, well kept apartment, everything available for a comfortable stay. Exceptionally helpful landlord, my son and I lived here for a longer period and had some more special needs, like printer or practical information of how to 'go about' living in Narbonne. We will be back! Could not have been better!
