Now with high speed FIBEROPTIC wifi. This unique Log Cabin with fireplace that sleeps six people, has two bedrooms and a loft. It has style all its own, close to Nashville, (in normal traffic about 30 min to airport and Downtown Nashville) (also newly finished Legacy park at LongHollow has basketball courts, frisbee golf and pickle ball courts, cabin has balls and rackets)
Once owned by June & Johnny Cash this property has music history. "Johnny Cabin" sits on treed acreage. The original cabin structure pre-civil war era was reconstructed on this property by famed preservationist builder Braxton Dixon. The cabin has been beautifully renovated with careful attention to providing modern comfort along with beautiful interiors. There are antiques found locally and original to the cabin when we purchased it. Full size modern kitchen with new appliances, bathroom with oversized tile shower and stack washer and dryer. The right place to compose, create or have a great getaway with family and friends. There is a second cabin several hundred feet away on the same acreage, also once owned by the Cash family, also available “Log Cabin Dreamy Loft Suite”

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, a quick 25-minute Lyft into the city and were able to relax and enjoy the quiet and less crowded town during the day. The cabin was comfortable and well-appointed. Thank Joy for a wonderful stay we created some fun memories!

Beautiful cabin, with great amenities

This cabin was perfect for my group of friends to stay at for the weekend. Despite the small footprint, the cabin is very spacious and cozy. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and a large, gorgeous bathroom.

Thoughtful Cabin Stay

I was impressed at some of the little touches the home owner made a point for us to have on our stay such as the log in the fireplace and some wood for the outside pit. Also the owner touched base upon our arrival to ensure we were all set for our stay. Very thoughtful hosts. Everything else met or exceeded our expectations. Was the perfect holiday getaway for our family.

Great getaway close to Broadway

This cabin is perfect. Rustic yet completely modern with all the comforts of home. Very easy drive in Nashville. It was nice to stay away from all of the commotion of the city in the peaceful cabin. The hosts were fantastic, easily accommodated our scheduling and the communication was quick. I highly recommend this stay.

Cutest cottage ever!

We truly enjoyed this quaint country cottage cabin! It’s nestled in a safe area tucked away in the woods with that feeling you’ve escaped from the City! It is a Trek back and forth, 30 or so with traffic to the city but we need a spacious spot for my teens and this was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Very relaxing

Property was quiet and beautiful, and just far enough away so that it wasn’t inconvenient to go to other places of interest. Perfect location for our softball tournament in Hendersonville Tn. Only thing I would change are the eating utensils, they were shaped weirdly. I would definitely recommend this cabin and host!

Cozy and Relaxing

We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed a peaceful weekend in the cabin. The cabin had a lot of modern updates in the kitchen and bathroom with nice touches of antique decor. We had plenty of family time by unplugging and relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch. The only bad thing to say here was I wish we stayed longer.

More Beautiful than the Pictures

We fell in love with Johnny’s Cabin the minute we drove up! Privacy, tranquility, and beauty orly 18 miles from Nashville. Rocking on the front porch, for us, was a welcome ending to a day of touring. (The “kids” meanwhile enjoyed the best of Broadway!) As for the inside, it is exactly as pictured, beautifully renovated with all the comforts of home. We appreciated the documents showing chain of ownership, and Joy (host) is the best ever. I have no doubt we’ll be back!

Lovely Johnny Cabin

Loved everything about this property! We went to Nashville for a Predators game & the commute was easy and around 25min. It was nice to come out to the cabin & have privacy after all the hustle & bustle of the city. The host was fantastic & prompt with replies. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, reading the history of the property & just the overall decor of the cabin. Would stay here again if ever back in Tennessee. 10/10.
