We stayed two nights to break up the drive to Pensacola, and spent a day visiting museums and taking the dogs on a little hike in the Harpeth River park. First and foremost, it was clean on the inside -- that's a major plus! We appreciated the snacks and eggs! However, the pictures make it a little better than it seemed -- especially on the outside. It could use a little paint and pressure washing, and gravel in the parking area. Our really major suggestion would be adding a dishwasher. I know it would spoil one set of antique cabinets, but for sanitation purposes between guests it seems major. I think it needs to be clearly stated in the listing details as I made the mistake and assumed that there would be a dishwasher as most rentals do have them. The mattresses could definitely be updated as both have body indents on both sides of the beds. But, it was clean and worthy of a four star rating. In my opinion, it just needs a few improvements to bring it up to a 5. I really appreciate it being dog-friendly!
