My daughter and I were looking in Franklin for a last minute girls’ weekend and were so fortunate to have found Generals Retreat. We highly recommend the stay! The house is so comfortable and well stocked. It was so nice to come back to a quiet and restful place to rest and rewind after our days out in the community.

This guest house was pure PERFECTION! It had all the necessary kitchen items & bathroom items. They were very clear in all instructions and requests, but flexible enough to accommodate the guests' wants (within reason). We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at General's Retreat. The accommodations were clean and welcoming. I really appreciated the motion sensitive lights all around the house when I took the dog out at night.

We so enjoyed staying at this property. Very spacious, beautifully decorated with lots of historic charm, big yard for pups! Within walking distance of downtown Franklin, as well as a nice park. Very nice and safe neighborhood, no problem walking day or night. So much to do and explore in the area. Mark and Damon (owners) are the nicest couple, they have a beautiful property and just fun to chat with. Forgot to thank them for the delicious banana bread.., thank you M&D. We hope to visit again:)
