The place is well equipped for a family; washing machine, kitchen etc. Love staying there! 「We LOVED our atay at Cosy Chalet. Loved the open plan area, kitchen island and can't beat a lovely hot fire for the added ambience. There was no fighting over bedrooms as all boast a double bed and similar in size. Seperate loo amd entry space handy. Everything we needed, super comfortable, lots of heat avaioable and a nice quiet street. Comms with the host a breeze, she wss lovely. I would thoroighly recommend. We all hope to come stay again.」

「The chalet was the perfect stay for us to explore Tongoriro National Park. The park turnoff was 15 minutes away. The National Park town has numerous dining options with a number of places that have incredible outdoor views. The turn is small and walkable and very safe and quiet! The chalet was well equipped with comfortable beds and also has great views of the surrounding areas and the volcanoes along with Mt Doom from Lord of the Rings! Our hosts were communicative and answered our questions...

「Second year in a row that we've stayed here for Labour Weekend. Was peaceful and quiet, ideally located for a range of activities nearby. Kids enjoyed gathering dead wood for the outdoor firepit, played boardgames into the evening, enjoyed the view of Ruapehu while sitting outside. Gorgeous location.」

「This was my second stay and it was perfect, we did the Tongariro crossing and the homes location to national park and surrounding walks and activities makes it the perfect option if you want something cheap. For the price it’s what you expect. It’s no luxury hotel but it has more then enough for what you pay for」
