“I booked this as a backup for the festival opening week and ended up being very pleasantly surprised. Sweet and warm welcome, extremely helpful staff. Nice atmosphere amongst travellers as well. I guess the bad reviews are either from an earlier period or people don't understand it's a hostel. I was very glad to see a fan spinning in the room at night as it was very hot. Basic but generous breakfast for free. Showers are old but what can you say at this price - unbeatable regarding the prices at……

“Exceptional Staff. Very attentive, friendly and make you feel at home. The hotel is beautiful, a tastefully restored Manor House in the centre of Arles. Clean, generously proportioned rooms retaining the original features of the old house/stable. We stayed in a premier room. It had its own terrace overlooking the courtyard. The courtyard is what really makes this hotel. A beautiful oasis in the city centre. Easy walking distance to the Roman remains. No restaurant on site but plenty to choose……

“The front desk staff was exceptional - knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly! The rooms were quite large, clean and despite the location beside a major route, we were not affected. It’s a 20 minute walk into Arles itself but with all the good food you’ll be eating, you should indeed be walking! ”
