「When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!」

「Family Paradise was the perfect setting for my family to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. The house was set on a beautiful cove with breathtaking lake views. We enjoyed the kayaks, slide, and jump platform. We tried to fish , but were never able to catch anything. Shannon was very responsive and able to answer all questions we had leading up to the trip. I would definitely recommend staying at this location, and I hope we can again soon.」

「We had the most wonderful time this weekend. The neighborhood was 2 easy turns from interstate. The home was furnished and decorated beautifully. The outside living area was so perfect, and the lake was so relaxing. Perfect set up for kids, teens, or friends. Ample space for everything. So many personal touches. It felt like home. Owner had great communication. Highly recommend.」

「The property was awesome. The home was equipped with everything that we needed. The views were exceptional. The only draw back was we arrived late Friday night and had to go to a public boat launch since we were not able to take the boat to the property and trying to locate the property at night in the water was a little trying. But the host did provide pretty good directions from the boat launch. I would definitely use them again.」

「The house is exactly as described! Beautiful part of the lake and we had peaceful mornings with coffee on the back porch. The boat ramp is so close and easy to use for your boat. Only negative is the mattresses need to be replaced. We had 6 adults & everything in the house functions well. We brought a Blackstone table top griddle where we made most of our meals outside. 「Overall the location and stay were good. The house met our needs. The gas grill was not usable and the hot tub was very dirty and needed a good cleaning. We had a great time and home met almost all our expectations. Views were amazing. Owner was very responsive to any issues we had.」

「Great place for the family. Swimming and fishing right in the backyard. Short walk to the dock. Bedrooms were arranged perfectly for our family. 3 bathrooms a definite plus. Cell service a little spotty but that just forces families to spend time enjoying each other instead of being on their phones.」

「My family and my brother’s family enjoyed this house so much. There were a total of 7 people and we never felt cramped. The lake is one of the cleanest and clearest I have ever seen. Swimming off the dock or rocks on the shore was amazing. We would definitely come back.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heirloom Cabin. Indoor spaces were clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The house is situated in a very picturesque area that offers privacy but also easy accessibility to the great dock and water space. 「This lake house was the perfect place for our family! We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy Smith Lake. We cooked on the Weber grill every day and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the deck. 「Lovely property with peaceful views of the lake and thoughtful considerations like extension cords and nice toiletries. The only critical feedback was some confusion over the actual address. Neither the VRBO listing, nor our messages provided the exact address (South was missing) which made it stressful with such a late arrival. However, we will definitely consider renting again!」
