family safe stay
The apartment was just like the picture. We arrived very late and had troubke understanding the contact-less check in. There were instructions in our language but perhaps some editing would make it clearer. BUT we called the host and he immediately answered, even though quite late. He assisted us and went smoothly. Outside was a playground that always full of children, playing and having fun. The season hadn't technically started so the outdoor pools weren't available. The indoor pool was ok for adults swimming laps but children would need a flotation device as its deep with no step/shallow portion for them to rest. On-site masseuse was good and very affordable. The shops all along the promenade looked amazing but they too weren't open yet. So it was quieter than peak season, less crowded. Still options! I felt safe walking to the market daily for meals, enjoyed having ensuite laundry but it was small. So I just did it daily as I like things very clean. They left cleaning supplies in the cupboard which made daily tidying up easy. There was an option for housekeeping to come, but as I cleaned daily, I didnt need assistance.
Recommend you take day trip to Enisala catsle ruins, about 1.5hr drive north. Take 5hr train ride out to western Romania and see the castles by Bran and Rasnov. I would recommend this place and would stay again.
