“The host was welcoming and very responsive. I had an issue with wifi password (completely my own fault) and they were very quick to help. I am marking as OK as there was a broken window handle in the main bedroom, this meant we were cold with the blind moving in the wind overnight. This sort of thing should have been noticed and fixed before we arrived, especially as this was an upgrade as the property we had booked was "unexpectedly unavailable". I can see this being a lovely place in Summer.”

“Beautiful, well equipped and presented accommodation and although the place is dog friendly it was very clean. It is in a very quiet secluded spot with plenty of birds and two squirrels kept us well entertained.A lovely couple renting the place out and the welcome pack was very appreciated.We will go back again as we both enjoyed a relaxing break.”

“An absolutely wonderful cottage in fantastic grounds. A real country getaway. We enjoyed a lovely winter pre-Christmas break here and it was a great base from which to explore North Norfolk and the coast. The grounds of the estate in which the cottage sits are beautiful, with lots of walks without getting in the car. “This is an amazing place to stop , very clean , warm and everything you need to have a good stay , it was -3 when i stopped but was warm n snug , tesco and lidl at the end of the road. I will definitely be stopping again when im up this way ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Conifers. It was lovely and quiet. My partner was recuperating from heart surgery so we didn’t go too far, nice flat walks nearby. Long and short. I think probably most people that stay have dogs, as non dog owners, we could smell dog in the main living area and when you sat on the sofas or the rug. “Inadequate instructions for cooker and microwave oven. Very poor quality on downstairs tv , Remote control batteries dead. Bathroom WC cistern would not fill instantly on many occasions. Bed uncomfortable , no hand towels. Otherwise very good.”

“Lovely clean property, living room would be cosy for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Only drawback is parking space which is small for larger cars and with poor visibility of road. Also workers of boatyard park opposite the driveway so unable to reverse into the driveway if you come back to the cottage during work hours.”
