"My wife and I stayed at Melaya Estate for 3 nights in September 2025. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a private pool and direct beach access. It's a quiet area, very peaceful. The staff is excellent. You tell them what you want from their menu and they bring the food to your villa at the specified time. The food is excellent. We are birders and the manager arranged for a driver to take us to the Bali Barat National Park, about 20 minutes away. We highly recommend these...

"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The house is on a peaceful beach (we didn't see any other tourists while we were here) with some local temples about 10 minutes' walk. The house is clean and well-equipped and the air conditioning was able to keep up with the heat! The large grounds were exactly as pictured, including the huge beautiful pool. We were able to have massages in our little massage pavilion right on the beach! Keep in mind that it does take 20+...

"Lilly, the owner, could not have been more helpful or responsive; we talked to her every day and she was always there to give us advice and make sure everything was good for us. The stregnth of this place was the views, which really are great; over the rice fields and close enough to the ocean that you can hear the waves crashing. The house is large, the AC works, and there is a nice kitchen, as well as really nice outdoor spaces to look at the view. We would certainly return."

"The Menjangan is a beautiful resort in the West Bali Barat National Park. It is spread out over a large area with open top mini buses traveling between the various parts available at any time on request. Our poolside room was large and beautifully styled. The two restaurants offer lovely meals and the staff are super polite and friendly. The number of rooms and guests is relatively small so it is never crowded. The facilities and options within the park are good with excellent guided bird and nature watching and easy snorkelling from the beach jetty and excellent snorkelling a short boat ride away. "
