We arrived in Sri Lanka late at night (11:30pm) and stayed at this hotel because it was cheap. We only stay here for 1 night and left the next morning to Eliya. Hotel had kind staff but neighborhood dogs and visible crack on our rooms balcony door made us not sleep much at all the night we stayed. Dogs barked repeatedly throughout the night and we had to call the front desk to quiet them several times throughout the night so we could sleep. They need better soundproofing for the rooms or assistance relocating the dogs to homes ideally if they’re strays. We would not stay here again based on how poorly we slept.

Lovely place in Negombo near the beach. Room was comfortable and had wonderful pillows. Just the right mix of softness and firmness. Appreciated the airport pickup. That made arrival easy given we came in on an early evening flight. Overall, recommend this hotel.

Maden var virkelig dårlig, de prøvede at få det til at se fint ud, men det var yderst smagsløst. Hotelværelset seng var hård og man kunne mærke fjedrene når man sov. Dørene var så tynde og man kunne høre alt. Belysningen på værelset var dårlig og det var svært at gøre sig klar og finde ting pga. den mærkelige belysning. Dog var det meget rent. Personalet var tilgængæld virkelig virkelig søde.

The staffs here were friendly, well mannered, and caring. The room was nice but the room needs to be cleaner (i.e. bidet needs to be cleaner, saw ants by coffee/tea station). The restaurant in the hotel had delicious breakfast.

A nice place to stay with the spa and in-house dining but no pool. Dinner service for a simple meal was very slow given 6 chefs in the kitchen and 3 people in restaurant. Had to get batteries in air con and tv remotes changed and 2 light globes replaced. Although done promptly when asked. Housekeeping in room was very good. Very noisy from 6am when kitchen staff come on duty as open kitchen and my room on first floor and from music playing in foyer. Also noisy from cars etc coming to hotel as I was at the front of building on first floor. Small wall tv not in front of beds and far away. Very dim bedside lamps so had to turn all lights on to read at night. Reception staff nice.

I stayed here one night before leaving Sri Lanka. The day I checked in I told them I needed the free airport shuttle. The next morning, two other groups left before me and their shuttles were on time. When it came time for me to leave, My shuttle didn't show up until 35 minutes after the requested time. I do believe it was the same car that took the other group which is ridiculous. There's no way I could have been on time. I came within one or two minutes of missing my flight. Would not stay at this hotel again due to their lackadaisical attitude.

Dear Guest,I'm sorry to know we caused an inconvenience to you.Indeed, your shuttle got delayed due to a miscommunication between the reservations team and operations.However, I'd like to clarify the information provided by you in this feedback.Your shuttle was late for 20 minutes.We understand the importance of a timely arrival at the airport.For this reason, we always suggest our guests be at the airport at least 3 hours before flight departure.During peak season, the airport authority recommended extending the time to 4 hours.We arranged for the airport drop-off, remembering this.Even if your shuttle gets delayed for 20 minutes, you have plenty of time to go through all the formalities at the airport.The above, in no case, removes responsibility from us to provide a timely service.We again apologize for the inconvenience and ensure improved communication between the departments.Sincerely yours,DN PereraManager

Perfect one night stopover when arriving
Needed to stay near the airport prior to leaving Colombo. Only 20 min drive to the airport. Would also be a good place to stay if arriving in Sri Lanka and heading north Staff welcoming and accommodating. Lovely comfortable room. Great meals. Airport transfer included in price. Safe hotel if you’re a female travelling solo.

I arrived later in the evening so couldn't really tell what was around the property. I went for a walk in the morning and was pleasantly surprised by the surroundings. It is about a ten minute walk to the beach and restaurants. It is in a quiet area so it was easy to sleep. They also provided free transportation which was very convenient. The room was beautiful and clean and gave a feeling of calmness when I walked into it.

The staff is very welcoming, especially the two who work in the restaurant (Lasith and Sand... honestly forgot his name) The man who cleaned our room went above and beyond daily. The ladies at the front desk were helpful, and the night desk trainee was pleasant and always greeted us with a smile. Overall, the staff really makes the place. It is clean, comfortable and close to the beach. Definite recommendation!

Used only as a pre airport stop so didn't have time to use facilities. Staff were really helpful and accomodating of my late arrival and arranged the free airport transfer. Room was clean and welcoming.

Wonderful oasis in Sri Lanka
Resort was helpful in making transfer to/from airport and had a nice restaurant on site. Room was large and well organized. No A/C but the ceiling fan and balcony were nice. We were out on excursions so didn't see much of the room. The staff was amazing. It was about 30 minutes from the airport and taxi was $15 USD/pp for the return. $5/pp for pick-up with a sign at arrivals.
