This is a fantastic waterfront spot for families with all you need to enjoy a relaxed comfortable holiday at a fraction of the price you would expect. The unit is spacious and comfortable with ocean breezes which cool this 2nd floor unit, sit back on the balcony and be mesmerized at the picturesque views of Shoal Bay beach, hear the waves crashing as they roll in against the sand or watch the ever changing coastal scenery of dolphins and marine life right at your fingertips.

The unit features two bedrooms, bathroom with seperate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, internal laundry with washing machine and dryer, single garage and single car space.

This property does not include sheets or towels, please bring your own or contact us to organise the linen hire service. The linen service is priced depending on your length of stay.

Linen Packs consists of 2 flat sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, bathmats, hand towels and tea towels (BYO beach towels). The property provides pillows, blankets, and quilts.

Parking: Single lock-up garage and one open car space. Please note, only registered resident permit holders with vehicles registered with Port Stephens Council are allowed to park on the roadside in the Columbia Close cul-de-sacs and the cul-de-sacs along Gowrie Avenue.

(e) intentionally, recklessly or negligently cause damage to premises, any common property or any other communal facilities within the immediate vicinity of the premises, or any public property in the vicinity of the premises
(f) intentionally, recklessly or negligently damage the personal property of neighbours of the premises or other occupants of a strata or community scheme.

This property is approved for holiday accommodation only, no extra bedding mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.

After hour emergency service is available 24/7 during your stay.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies.

Lovely Apartment

Was a beautiful stay, however the appliances need some updating, including the TV( remote did not work) however these things were not majors for us. Lovely view. And comfy.

Great location w pro's & con's.

Pro: Excellent location - just meters from the west end of Shoal Bay Beach, lovely cross sea breeze, lovely view from the lounge and balcony thru the headland, great lock up garage perfect for storing surfboards & beach gear, apartment very clean on arrival. Walk to Little beach kiosk & Little Beach Boathouse (excellent restaurant), Fly Point. Master bed comfortable with new mattress & bed frame. Affordable & available at short notice. Cons: (Agent feedback seperate below) Either the owners don't stay at the apartment themselves or perhaps elderly & not aware of what modern day holiday renters need / expect. The apartment certainly had the *basics* but there was no effort put in to the aesthetics or special touches of the place. For example - there were 10 coat hangers in the cupboard and they were so deformed they were useless to hang anything other than a belt. If the owner stays there that is such a simple thing to fix. There was one pedestal fan (we purchased another for the 2nd bedroom for our stay), The glassware was all mixed and weird sizes, the salt & pepper shakers were in retro 70's tupperware - no grinder. There were VHS tapes on the shelf (someone probably should have removed those 20 years ago, one 30 year old bingo boardgame. No DVD's for the DVD player. No useable hooks to hang things. Small older lounges. O'Meara Agency - Sent us to wrong property initially. Insisted we were at right place. We obviously couldn't get in etc, then called back & redirected us. Only one key provided - this is very unusual & puts place at security risk as keys having to be left hidden for family members coming and going at different times. Popped in to office to enquire about extending stay for half day or overnight after seeing that the property was available on stayz & their website but the lady shut me down without even asking which property I was talking about. The owners lost a day - or half day rent... In summary - Great location, budget accom. Give me $500 and a weeks accomodation and I'll make a trip to Ikea & do a mini makeover for you that will 100% improve guest satisfaction!! All in all, we had a nice stay, room for improvement but you do get what you pay for..
