Great two bedroom apartment overlooking beach
This property is perfectly located overlooking Dutchman's beach, a stones throw from the ocean and reasonably priced. It’s located in a quiet area with a full kitchen and two bedrooms with a door to separate the lounge. My kids enjoyed being able to duck down to the beach with ease and I really enjoyed watching the sunsets and enjoying the birdlife. My only suggestion would be to provide towels and there was a little bit of mould on one of the blinds that triggered my lungs but otherwise a fantastic property that I will stay at again if we go back to Nelson Bay.

Hi Lydia Thank you for your review. We used to provide towels. In fact we supplied towels sufficient for a number of reservations. It became apparent that some guests were using a new towel every day. Some guests were using them as beach towels. We do provide details of an agency were towels can be hired. Regards Alan

Nice stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lovely view & convenient access to a great child friendly beach. Only a three drive to the Main Street. The unit was clean although I had to pop out to buy pillows and blankets as the pillows were heavily stained and the quilts had an odd smell & needed a wash.

Beautiful stay
We had such a wonderful stay! The apartment was so well equipped and the view was sensational. We loved the quick access to dutchies and we spent every day at the beach! It was quite hot in the apartment with only fans as we had 30 degree days and our kids did struggle a bit with the heat as we are from a cool climate. We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely return! Just to note the main garbage bins weren’t emptied on the Monday and the smell was very strong near the stairs. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Position, position
Great location with easy walk to cafes and restaurants. 2 minute walk to beach. Beautiful views from balcony with sensational sunsets while we were there. Apartment had everything we needed including a mixed collection of wine glasses.

Our accommodation was perfect, the view was great, the apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed, it was comfortable, clean and the location was great, close to town, however very quiet. I definitely recommend this apartment. I will definitely stay there again

Welcome to Paradise
My husband & I stayed here for 2 weeks and we wished we had stayed for longer. I don't think you could get a more perfect location - magical views over Dutchman's Beach and just a minute's walk before your toes are in the water & walking distance to the shops in Nelsons Bay. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly require & stocked it. I hope to be able to visit again.

Relaxing Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice views of Dutchies beach and beyond from the unit, which is very clean and light. It has comfortable beds and all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. Very close to Dutchies Beach and access to lovely walks into Nelson Bay and to Bagnalls Beach as long as you can handle a few steps.

Fantastic Experience!

Sublime view
We loved staying at this property. The neighbours (who you'll probably meet on the stairs) were very friendly, the apartment was clean and well equipped. It's in a beautiful location with gorgeous foreshore walks. If you're an avid walker, runner or swimmer this is a great spot to stay. But even if you're more the tea or wine on the balcony watching the sunset, this is good for that too.

Great spot
An older but we'll maintained property with good kitchen. It is a short and pleasant walk to Nelson Bay. Near the beach with a water view. Be aware it doesn't have wifi which maybe relevant.

Great location, awesome views, great apartment
For starters, the first thing you would notice is the great view of Dutches beach as you arrive, which is also extremely easy to reach from the apartment. The instructions were clear and precise making check in and check out easy. The apartment was perfect for what we needed, with plenty of kitchen, bathroom and bed facilities. Decent enough space. Did I mention the awesome view. Nelson Bay town centre is no more than a 10 minute walk, we usually chose to walk along the path that runs next to the water for the scenic walk to town. One thing though, and I don't blame the owners for this at all, and don't look badly on the apartment, but just as a warning. Don't leave clothes or anything valuable outside. We had a couple of items of clothes stolen when we left them out to dry on the balcony, so after that we just used a fan and clothes rack inside to air our clothes. But overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, we looking to book again in August

Loved this property especially the outlook to the water. Very relaxing holiday. Value for money.
Had a wonderful time swimming at Dutchies Beach every morning only a short stroll from our accommodation. Loved the decor and ammenities. Great spot with lots to see. Went for a reunion with army buddies and totally enjoyed the area, could have stayed longer.

Property is average for the price
Property location was good close to the beach and marina. Bed was hard to sleep on need to be a upgraded/ flipped/ turned. Sheets were provided but wasn't put onto the bed. Check out time was at 11 but the cleaner or owner of the property said we were suppose to have left at 10.30. Not many PowerPoints in the house. Besides that everything was good

It specifically says check out was to be no later than 10.30am We do not provide a serviced apartment nor do we advertise that we provide a serviced apartment. No other guest has complained about the bed. In fact we have received compliments about the bed. As to the number of power points there are 8 power points in a 2 bedroom unit. Alan

Lovely view, lovely apartment! But lots of stairs down to Dutchies beach.
Really nice apartment, comfy beds, and lovely view from balcony. Well-equipped for anything you would need. Owner was easy to communicate with. Lots of stairs down from this apartment to the walking path near Dutchies, and therefore the same path that leads to town. Also a bit weird having the people in 3 other apartments entering our balcony area to access their units. And they can see straight in as they pass, unless the blinds are down. But I would stay here again as it's good value for money.

What a great find! We've stayed in many holiday rentals in Port Stephens and have been very impressed with this property. It's location right on Dutchies Beach and affordable price is a winning combo. The apartment is well appointed and is stocked with more than just the essentials. Fantastic ! Everything was so clan and tidy,
On arrival we found everything as we were told it would be even the code for keys , laundry room and bbq on balcony. All easy to find and do. and all bedding was all like new and bed was comfortable ! we could not believe the cleaning cupboard it looked like a supermarket so much stuff back up for cleaning and utensils for cooking. we did not have to think about anything as everything was written down with instructions to find what we needed. was great views from balcony and safe free car park ! will recommend to friends and we hope to visit again Well Done Alan five star !!!!
