“I’ve never stayed here before when in Powell River because I knew it was very old and thought it would be dumpy inside; what a surprise, the staff were very helpful and it was very nicely decorated and super modern throughout the whole place. Great views and easy walking access to a variety of shops, restaurants etc.”

“Great views. Friendly staff. Great amenities. Only one restaurant available for dining below hotel and they were hosting an event inside when we arrived. No signs anywhere about an event. We were turn away as it was busy so we asked to sit outside since it was empty just to enjoy the view but they decline too. We said we wouldn’t need a menu or drinks or need any service. Just sitting outside the patio - still declined.”

“Obviously well cared for small motel. Unfortunately they used cheap materials in the inside renovations so the floors in both rooms we stayed in recently were deteriorating. The staff were very professional and efficient - check in was pleasant and easy. Would definitely stay again.”

“We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. And if you have heavier luggage, no elevator only stairs. Besides there are……

“A really great place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, and had eveything you needed. Nice gardens to sit in with a view of the ocean, we will stay here again for sure.”
