"Lovely restaurant and bar food. Bedrooms were well equipped with all commodities and refreshments. Would 100% stay again and a very reasonable price which included a lovely cooked full English breakfast/cereals and alternatives. Lovely location and car parking too. Started over as we were attending a funeral the day after and had a nice evening meal with my brother and his wife. They accommodated them no problem even though we had only booked for two. The pub/restaurant was very busy which we could understand when we ate the lovely fayre."

"This is a really lovely hotel. Much better than I expected. The family room was very large, spacious and clean. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way for us. They even had a bouncy castle which my five year old absolutely loved, and really needed after a long car journey. We ate dinner in the bar area (the restaurant was closed) but it was the same menu and it was delicious. It was a really nice, family friendly area. They even had games out for guests to play with. I would highly recommend this place."

"The property is superb and the place was spotless surrounded by beautiful countryside. The only issue was the breakfast, obviously there were no staff to serve at breakfast so it was a bit every man for himself, the food and drink is all laid out the night before so first up is best dressed. By the time we got down, 9.00 am there was no fruit or yoghurt left and a tiny bit of butter to go with the stale bread and pastries. I think a lot of people are basically pigs at a buffet and very rarely think of other people. Couldn’t fault the hotel but maybe a different way of serving up breakfast."

"Clean and tidy property. Well suited to a large gathering (stag in our case). Easy to locate and useful to have cheap public carpark next door. Train station a short walk away with regular trains into Chester. Appreciate the en-suites in each room. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Owner messaged on day of arrival to give directions and met us at the carpark to show us around. Lovely pod. Hot tub takes approx 2 hrs to heat up as it uses logs but it retains the heat well. We had a lovely relaxing weekend "
