The front office staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful with a small issue we ran into. It was a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to our next stay.”

“Broken AC, the room was not swept or mopped at all (dirty and there were bugs and spider webs all over), the "hard wood" floor in the bathroom was sinking in like there was wood rot underneath. Avoid coming here. I was guaranteed a refund for having to switch rooms and shorten our stay, and still have not gotten the refund”

“We were placed in a room that smelled like urine so the staff moved us to another room. The TV remote didn't work and Noone could help fix it. They just suggested we move back to the original room. Overall the stay was ok but don't think I would be back or suggest this place to others. Breakfast was good. Love the waffles”

“Julie and Ron were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcomed. The room was elegant with a very comfortable bed and huge closet. It was a very quiet stay. The inn was close to shopping and fine dining. However, there was no surface space on which to put things. There were no shelves and only a small dresser in the closet. The only surface was the bed. We constantly lived out of our bags. One must be healthy and mobile to get to the patio or to the refrigerator.”

“This is our second stay at the National Hotel. The property is charming and historic; however, both times, the staff have been unfriendly and seemed bothered by simple requests. We were not alone in the process.”

“Our room faced the Main Street and while we were concerned about the noise (especially when we discovered the earplugs provided by the hotel), it wasn’t loud at all! The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and we didn’t have any issues finding parking. Our door code didn’t work when we arrived, but a quick call with the SUPER helpful manager got us both in the front door and into our room quickly. We LOVED having breakfast at the various places within the block and having a nightcap at the……
