Experience absolute privacy and tranquility in this newly renovated entire house plus outdoor covered decking, eating, TV, and treadmill, 32' X 40' outdoor area with wood & composite decking, fire pit - lots of greenery, walking track, three bedrooms, great room with fireplace, twin sofa and 53 inch TV - great room to hang out, screened back porch with library, full kitchen / dining & full bath with cast iron tub, utility room - washer/dryer/iron, 10 minutes from food / restaurants, fishing, parks & 46 minutes / beaches. Extra for the winter months - turkey / deer watch. Pet Dog friendly with fee permission.

Quirky but nice
It was quiet, comfortable and small. It's a very old home but it's been updated. It's a quirky little place, and we enjoyed ourselves. Great location close to a lot of things we wanted to see. Our only issue was a couple of wasps got into the house but we got rid of them.

Quiet Getaway
Wow, it was a nice, quiet retreat. Everything was so clean and everything you need to be comfortable was there. I was just a little confused on the hot tub thinking it was the outdoor kind and slept in the twin bed leaning forward on my side but all in all, not a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

The best vrbo we have stayed with. Kitchen was very well equipped, even some food supplies. Master bed very comfortable. Great TV watch area. Excellent laundry area. Liked outside covered area with TV for local news. Certainly will stay again when in the area and recommend this vrbo to others seeking a place in the New Bern area.

Quiet and Convenient
The host was quick to respond when I had an issue with the WiFi after a storm passed through the area. Since I work remotely, I was extremely grateful for the updates I received. The house is as advertised, older but quaint. It’s off the beaten path a bit so it’s quiet but still convenient to New Bern. Thank you for sharing it with me for the two weeks I was there!

Exactly as advertised!
The property manager was just a phone call away and so very pleasant to speak with. The property is clean and exactly as advertised. Our ONLY issue was lack of internet speed in order to watch television. Recommend for travelers with furbabies! Excellent area for pets to exercise unleashed.

Thanksgiving stay
I was not going to publicly write this but after much discussion with my wife we decided it should be made known, There are roaches in the kitchen/dining area and in the bath room. This caused extensive dish and utensil washing prior to each and every use. In addition the oven quit working while cooking Thanksgiving dinner and the dish washer did not work. There was mold in the caulking around the bathtub. The initial cleanliness appeared to be immaculate but after the roaches appeared we revised our opinion, Left 2 days early.
