「I was staying in the little camper, things were fine until i found that the lock on the door didnt work, there was no hot water in the shower, and the outhouse door had no inner handle so i couldnt fully shut the door. I would also not recommend this location if you are short, and have knee and back issues because there are some high steps to take to get in/out of the outhouse and the camper.」

「Overall, this is a super charming property and the historical neighborhood is fun to walk with lots of great restaurants nearby. We stayed in the Blarny Loft which is cozy; the bed is comfortable and tv is nice. However, the space as a whole could use some maintenance. The windows are filthy, shower is a mere trickle of water, floor feels unstable inside in spots, and outside on the deck there are areas where the wood is rotted. It would also be nice to have a couple of real coffee cups,...

「Wonderful restored house from around 1900. Clean and beautifully furnished with extensive garden and pool. Hosts Brian and Vanessa are both helpful and charming. We felt very relaxed there. Excellent breakfast this morning. Got a demo and useful tips on making Vanessa's tortillas! Homemade muffins, rolls, salsa....yum. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of Gonzales. Would stay again. Worth every penny.」
