River Run is in walking distance to Downtown New Braunfels and Wurstfest. River Run has the longest float from any Resort on the Comal River. We provide 7 river tubes (air compressor too) for our guests and convenient shuttle service is right across the street. For a small fee they will bring you back to River Run.

Pool and hot tube located right on the river. You have the best of both worlds.

Property has garage parking with an elevator conveniently located. The property is beautifully landscaped with huge trees providing plenty of shade.

Great location and close to all New Braunfels has to offer. Schlitterbahn, Landa Golf Course and Park are just across the river. Enjoy a day tubing on the Comal River or just hanging in the sun at the condo's pool and barbecue on the many pits located onsite. Just a short drive to Gruene, home to the oldest dance hall in Texas and great unique shops and restaurants. Canyon Lake is just a short drive away. Located between Austin and San Antonio.

This 2 bedroom condo has a master bedroom with a king size bed with an attached bathroom and TV. The guest bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, TV and has a shared bathroom. Sofa in living area pulls out to a queen size bed which is great for children!! Kitchen has everything you will need to cook meals at home, including a stove, microwave, crockpot, dishes, utensils, full size refrigerator, and Keurig coffee pot. Fireplace and 48 in flat screen TV in living area. Balcony provides a partial river and pool view with a patio table to relax after a day on the river.

For extended stay guests weekly linen and towel service is included.

Amazing amazing amazing. So convenient, location to pay for the shuttle to bring you back after floating is directly across from the condo then you can get on at the beginning of the Comal river from the condo. After floating, we realize that this is a treat as we were not stepping out of a place to stay to start the float half way through. Big plus! The condo had everything we needed and more. Plenty of parking and the pool was nice, again also has the private entrance to the river. The building is definitely older but everything else out weighed that. The condo was very clean and had so many items you need for cooking, floating, and relaxing. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Personally, I would not put more than four adults in this condo. Outside of the convenience, the real star of the show are the owners. Debbie went over and beyond to help us have a great experience. I’ve never experienced an owner who cares so much through any of my rentals with Vrbo or other sites. Thanks Debbie for everything!!!!

Nice property. Comfy beds. Super easy access to the river. I Suggest to get wristbands from the tube rental behind the property to be able to get a ride back at the end of the river. I read some people had complaints about hearing the train, bring some white noise. We heard nothing. Lots of partying but gets quiet over night. Would stay there again.

Nice cozy, stay

The condo was super clean and we'll equipped. The property owners were also very communicative and helpful. They're local, so I asked about places to eat and tubing. We really enjoyed their recommendations, and we would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and loved

This place has a fantastic location on the river, and to nearby restaurants, etc. The condo is cozy and well loved, unfortunately a little too loved in some spots. The couch in the living room is so worn in, that the cushions do not cover the sleeper bed frame, making it very uncomfortable to sit on. The bed in the primary bedroom is great, but the queen bed in the other room needs a new mattress, and an oiling of the bed frame. It squeaks with any turn and sleeping with another adult, you will roll together. There is a nice blackout curtain in the primary, but the queen room does not have one, and there is an exterior light on the building that shines as bright as daylight into the window all night. Then there are the trains. All day and night. They do not lay on their horns, but they use their breaks that squeak and squeal ( for safety I’m sure) . And the construction on the train tracks next door. And the construction/painting on the condos. There is a TON of noise. The AC works wonderfully, and the shower off the master bathroom has nice pressure….the shower off the hallway has the worst pressure. The shower head and possibly plumbing desperately need to be updated. The patio is private, you are tucked into a corner, and there wasn’t any issue with noise from other guests, which was nice. The pool was clean, and the grounds are nicely kept. Overall, a little over priced without some upgrades, but hopefully ownership will make improvements soon :)

MIXED FEELINGS

I have mixed emotions about this review.. the host was awesome and would get back with me extremely timely which makes this difficult… the condo interior was neat and clean.. However the view posted on VRBO for the exterior and grounds and the view we had were not at all the same .. We were in a corner with the view of a train which passed all day and night and another condo.. the surrounding area was sketchy and the river was filthy.. We did not even get in at all .. the pool was also not well kept up.. very minimal stuff in the kitchen… no scenery at all .. I was very disappointed especially for what we paid to rent this.. would I rent again ?? NO .. it was very misleading

Great location!!

Have stayed at this property numerous times over the years and its always been a great time. No problems with the unit what so ever. Owner had a few tubes and air compressor which the kids enjoyed. Pool area is always nice and they have river access which is really convenient. We always use Texas Tubes which is literally next door so no driving involved. If you let them know you are a guest at River Run Condos you can tubes all day with only paying once. Location makes it great as well as you can literally walj to town in like 5-7 minutes.

Texas first time

This was our first time in Texas. New Braunfels was a great location. Between SanAntonio and Austin. We brought our bicycles and enjoyed to trails in both cities. We the condo being right on the comal river we were able to float on the hot afternoons. Our host was very helpful and responded quickly.

Cute condo blocks from Wurstfest

We went for my mom and husbands bdays to Wurstfest. Very cute condo, blocks from Wurstfest. Beautiful property, easy parking and elevators for my mom. Hosts were super nice and responded quickly to questions.

5 Stars on all counts except, I don't recall the listing mentioning the proximity to the rail road track and the frequency of night time trains which can be heard in both bed rooms. Both bedrooms would significantly benefit from blackout curtains as the walkway lights and Wursfest lights keep the rooms from being sufficiently dark at night. And the photos of the river are much more beautiful than the current state, which may be due to drought so communicating the water levels will be important for other guests.

What a great time! The location was ideal, being right on the river but was also walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had a bit of problem with one of the showers but he owner came right over and got it fixed. Would definitely recommend this property.

This was a great unit and had everything we needed, including river tubes and a quality air compressor. Communication with the host was amazing. The condo is on the third floor (which we prefer) but is very close to the elevator.
