We are local and offer 24/7 guest support, and we would have been happy to address the situation in real time. Please be assured we will be reaching out to the property next door. All communication is sent via email (not the app), which can be a new experience for someone accustomed to booking on a platform. We often see that guests do not see our emails until their trip is approaching, and they search for Check-in Information. We are constantly working with our booking platform partners to improve it! We would love to have you return and recommend Unit 112, The Lyndon! It is the only Unit with a king and is one of our most popular rentals.

We understand your frustration at not being able to cancel your trip and receive a refund, Hugo. While travel insurance is very important in protecting your trip, it is equally crucial to understand the policy terms and conditions. It was a beautiful week, in the upper 70s and low 80s, and the heat was not on, but we understand that Texas weather can change on a dime. We were more than happy to offer an identical Unit!
