Simple Solitude

We enjoyed a relaxing 3-day stay at Apple Blossom. Though not very updated, the cabin was a peaceful place to getaway. It's hidden away surrounded by woods, yet is located just a short 6 minutes from the opportunities Berlin has to offer. We particularly enjoyed having an outdoor private hot tub in which to unwind!

Amazing cabin!

The cabin is perfect. It was spotless clean and so beautifully decorated. We were sneaking away for a night for R&R and this hit the spot! Communication with owners was always prompt!!! Highly recommend. Worth every penny!!!

Perfect quiet getaway

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We played cards by the fireplace and looked out over the snowy trees while we were warm in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything to prepare food and there are enough great restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook at all. The bed was cozy and the cabin stayed warm on a cold winter night. I really recommend this property and owner.

Very nice, clean place.

The listing just needs updated to include the TV, and WiFi. Everything was nice and clean. And it does not have a “full kitchen”, as there is no oven. Although there is a cooktop. Would stay again!

Cabin was very clean and well kept and had all the amenities needed. The only problem we encountered was the tub drain was clogged and very slow draning. There was a plunger in the bath so was able correct problem .

This could have received 5 stars; however, several things could have been better. The grass was to the top of my shoes, needed mowed! The grill outside was not cleaned out and it would be nice if the owner threw a handful of charcoal in or provided a handful under the sink for $1k/3 nights. The “love tub” in the kitchen needs upgraded. The jets and filter area are old and yellow looking. Got into the hot-tub and the seats were slimy. There was no chlorine tablets in the chlorine holder, they were on the ground behind the cabin! There was green algae on the chlorine holder so my guess is it didn't have any for awhile. Turned the jets up high and could see the scum on top of the water. Cobwebs with dead spiders could have been cleaned, not the most horrific thing though. Didn’t use the fan in the bedroom because it was caked in dust and we didn't want to eat the dust. Also outside the lamppost lights were busted and seems like they have been that way for awhile, hazard. Then there was some kind of brush cut down and the stems left looked like spikes. Bet that puts someones eyes out if they were to fall on it. Thank goodness we didn't have kids there! Very dangerous! As we were packing up to leave the door code must have expired. My husband was locked outside! Thank goodness I was still inside so I could let him in! That was around 7:30 AM so not even close to check out time (10am). Also lets not forget the kitchen window was left unlocked at checkin!
