This is one of the closest places to stay to Ash Cave, and is convenient to the other areas of the park as well. It is a funky building-- the owner has recently redone the walls in very nice wood, and has a new, very nice LVP floor. That gives it a clean feel. Big improvements from last time I stayed. The heat is easy to adjust up and down, new, small fridge. Those are the pluses. Downside: there is no silverware-- one bent fork. I went to dollar store & bought 4-- left them there along with 2 wine glasses. I just like wine in a glass-- and there are only mugs and two very large plastic cups there. Also, curtain in largest window of bedroom does not cover the window. It's on a tension rod-- so you can move it down do at least the light comes in at the top. It doesn't get light that early, but still... There are no coat hooks or towel bars/racks-- but perhaps that is just because the owners are in the process of updating. They do have wi-fi, but it was sporadic when I was there-- so don't count on it. No cell service for T-Mobile there. So be prepared to have hit-or-miss service. Do NOT count on connectivity or you will be disappointed. Places in Hocking Hills are very expensive-- this is still affordable. I appreciate that, so I did not want to be too hard on it.
