17a Princes Street is located in the heart of our vibrant Fitzroy Village. You will find beautiful boutique shops, cafes, bars, restaurant, bank, supermarket and more.

Fitzroy has one of the best surf breaks and beaches in Taranaki. Stroll along the black sand and take a dip or walk along the walkway and discover the beauty of the west coast.

5 min drive or 20 min walk to CBD and check out Pukariki Museum, Govett Brewster Art Gallery, Bowl of Brooklands or the Popular Pukekura Park.

5 min drive to Valley Shopping Centre - where you will find all your shopping needs. Mitre 10 Mega, Countdown, Rebel Sport, Briscoes and more chain stores.

Your holiday stay will be in the bottom apartment unit. This beautiful warm unit has modern furnishings and luxury linen. It also has sole access to the sunny
relaxing back yard and barbecue area.
Sleeps up to ten people.
Master Bedroom has a queen bed (the single trundle bed can be put in this room if required.)
Second bedroom has a queen bed and single bed (trundle bed under it.)
Third bedroom has 2x long single beds.
The lounge has a pull out couch.
On the cooler days, relax around the cosy wood burner - read a book, watch sky sport or play a board game.

Ideal house for a weekend away

A Light and breezy apartment that looks out on the garden. The outdoor table was an ideal spot for gathering late in the afternoon. Open plan kitchen / dining/ lounge area comfortable and welcoming. The house is well supplied with all the basic kitchen equipment.

Fitzroy Hideaway

Great dog friendly property. Comfortable bed, fantastic shower with fab pressure! Plenty of firewood for the fire, just had to buy kindling. Access to main door was not close to car, not ideal if its raining on arrival or departure. Clean and tidy. Location was quiet and handy to CBD. Appreciate that we could bring our dog on holiday.

Amazing spot

I can’t rate this property highly enough. My partner, 2 yr old and small dog needed somewhere central to stay during our visit to Taranaki. Not only did we find that but the property was incredibly clean, spacious and light. But it was the small details like the fluffiest towels (& plenty of them), comfortable beds & linen), hallway storage full of games and toys, child’s playhouse, 2 bathrooms, clothes drying rack, plenty of kitchen utensils etc… Communication was also really prompt especially when I had questions. Thank you so much we had a great time exclamation exploring Taranaki and it was so nice to come home to relax at different parts of the day.

Ideal accommodation

This accommodation was perfect for our group. The bedrooms were a great size and had everything we needed. Bathroom was lovely and the water pressure was excellent. Having a separate toilet was also useful. Being fully fenced meant our puppies could run around outside to their hearts content. Looking forward to staying here again!!
