"Great gym. Nutritious breakfast options. The staff seems like mostly college students or young people, so the cleaning quality is a bit lacking. For example, when we checked into our room, garbage from the previous occupier was still there. Little things like that. But overall, we slept well and the place was quiet."

"We really enjoyed the farmhouse and visited Blacksburg, Cascades and other National Forest hiking areas during our stay. Loved all the trains, too. Note that some windows don’t have screens. We learned the hard way since it was ladybug season! "

"Overall pretty clean. No where to hang out in the lobby to gather with others. The hotel felt dark overall. Old smells at times. Main water line burst at the hotel during our stay. They had to turn the water off to fix it, which I understand, but never informed guests this was happening. When asked if I could check out and not be charged for the day, I was told no. This was at 1:30 in the afternoon. Front desk could have handled it better. Additionally, the fire alarm kept going off at random times, but there was no actual fire. It’s an old hotel and you get what you pay for. "
