Worst experience in life. Never again
It was out dated smell horrible and the heat didn’t work and the bathroom didn’t have sink stopper in it my husband weddings ring fell down the drain. The toilet was so old the paint was coming off and you can see the brown. Drunks and drug people was on the property. We couldn’t open the window. Very unsafe. Feel that you will be robbed. The bed you can feel the string in it. And it definitely a rip off that’s why they only show the front as advertisement but it need to be closed down

It felt so unsafe. Lots of people hanging out in the back of the building and drug use on the side of property. I opted to leave and drive 400 miles to home, as opposed to checking in.

Adequate For the Price.
I needed to stay in Avenel for the weekend and selected this place for the cost and location. The staff were very friendly and the room was adequate for my needs. There was a smell of cigarette smoke and weed, so I kept the window open while in the room. It is located next to a Dunkin' where I got my coffee. There was a pizza restaurant and deli a couple blocks away on Avenel Street. Parking was good with an exit out back to a side street. So, again, this met my needs.

The hotel was dirty and had roaches. I booked it based on the name and it was far from anything i have stayed in from travel lodge or Wyndham.

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which results in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. We do not allow smoking in common areas at all and we will be implementing stricter measures in the future. Thank you.

Room card did not work, but did lock once inside. Appeared clean but was very shabby and porn channel on tv. Definitely not recommended for kids. Lastly, I paid $114 for one night but sign on road said rooms for $45. Poor quality but good for just a few hours of sleep

My stay was less than acceptable. The thing I was mad at the most was this hotel had roaches! I let the person at checkout know that they have a roach problem and they should look at getting that under control. The attendant said he didn’t care they had roaches. 😡 That particular Travelodge suck.

PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY... $144.00.. YOU DON'T HAVE A NUMBER, I CAN CONTACT YOU... HOTEL. COM.. OR REFUND MY CARD .I do not have that card.Had to cancel. Please call me for new card.THANK YOU

When I tried to check in early they wanted to charge me an extra $20 for two hours early which was 3 hours after my arrival. The staff didn’t clean our room until I complained to them about it. Very cheap, rooms look better than the photos on the website. You pay for what you get

Solo female travel for 3 day weekend
Pro-Easy Check in. The room came with fridge and microwave. Enough floor space. Near lots of locations to get food and drinks. Cons-Based on the price I expected a bit better especially since other chains with better amenities are the same price. The external image of the place is a turn off to booking. Locks on doors need to be better as the single chain does not make you feel very secure.Very outdated just some paint, new tiles and out with the carpet would make all the difference in the appearance and appeal.

The property is pretty run down and tired in general. The market it's in allows them to charge twice what the rooms should be priced. No alarm clock; ancient matresses; and bag breakfast for $135 a night.
