Newly renovated vacation home features brand new appliances, second floor central air, outside shower, four bedrooms, three full baths and is situated 100 feet from the water with a shared private beach. It is less than a mile from Mount Sunapee ski area and is also within walking distance of the state beach. The water is exceptionally pure as the source of much of the water comes from underground springs. Swimming, boating, fishing, hiking or just relaxing and enjoying a truly restful and peaceful vacation can be yours in this comfortable lake home with modern amenities. Kayak, paddle board and fire pit included - what more can you ask for a dream vacation!

Hidden gem

Such an incredible place - we had the beach all to ourselves despite it being a shared beach with the cottage essentially right on the lake so our children could go back and forth. Loved it!

Family Vacation

We had a lovely time at the Crawford's lake house. The house was very clean, quite spacious and the location was great. The owners and property manager were very accessible and quick to respond to all questions/requests. The beach was perfect for the kids and we really enjoyed the use of the paddleboards. The house was very comfortable and fit three families (two families each with two kids and a set of grandparents) without feeling overcrowded. We have a great vacation and would come back again!

The Perfect Vacation Home

The lake house was perfectly described. A very enjoyable week was had by all. The paddle boards and kayaks were a big hit. We were told that we could pick blueberries nearby so that was a bonus as well as the bright and colorful double rainbow that made for great pictures. Everyone we met was friendly and although the beach was a shared one, we basically had it all to ourselves. A great place to stay!

Great location, had everything we needed. Clean, well stocked and lots of fun boats to explore the lake. Cove the property is on was protected on breezy days, beach was great. Property manager and owner very responsive to questions.

Perfect Vacation Home for Family

This home was beautiful!!! This newly renovated house is equipped with all the comforts of home including a immaculate, modern, fully equipped kitchen and a large dining area that comfortably held our family of 6 adults and 4 children. The family room was spacious with lots of comfortable seating with a large tv, lots of books and games to entertain. The views of the lake were amazing from almost every room! Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable with linens and towels. We loved the beach area for swimming (especially for the toddlers). The older grandkids and adults loved the paddle boat, the paddle board and the kayak. We enjoyed the outside at firepit several evenings. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and the neighbors were such nice people. Everyone in our family loved the home and enjoyed our family vacation there!!!!

A perfect week at the lake!

We had a great time at this property. The house was great for kids - toys indoors and lots to play with at the beach. The entrance to the lake at the private beach area was very gradual and perfect for little ones. We had a few rainy days but lots to visit around the area when it wasn't swimming weather. The house was in excellent condition (true to photos) and had everything we needed. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we will be back!

Beautiful view and house perfectly appointed

We had a seem-less experience at this home from arrival to departure. The kitchen and bedrooms/bathrooms were well stocked. The home was cozy and clean. The owner and caretaker were very supportive. We woke up to a beautiful view of the lake that was steps from our door. There are great restaurants nearby for dining or take out. Most of the action is in New London about 15 minutes away as far as grocery shopping and more diverse dining selections. But Sunapee has plenty to offer. The home and the lake were perfect for our family get away!

Beautiful Lakefront Home with So Many Perks

This house felt like good friends had let you use their home--if you were lucky enough to have friends with a beautiful lake front property. The kitchen is fully stocked with pantry staples in place and the homeowners have thought of everything you might need. We loved the spotless, lovely, well-kept space and each of us slept perfectly in the cozy, comfy upstairs rooms. We also made ample use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The house has a beautiful view of the lake but is in a somewhat dense area with other houses very nearby. The neighbors were friendly and delightful (and the caretaker is great) but the July 4th celebrations were super noisy--just the nature of that night. Overall, such a wonderful stay for our family of five (kids aged 10-15).

Great start to summer!

We had such a great time - kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing and exploring. The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and met our family of five’s needs perfectly! Wonderful stay on Lake Sunapee

We had a great time at Crawford Cottage. We got to meet Steve and he was a great host. It was a cooking paradise - it was stocked with every pot/pan/mixing bowl/serving dish/utensil you could need and more. It was steps from the lake and there were three kayaks and a paddle board. All of us (3 kids plus parents) could get out on the water together. The little beach was great as you could go outside and play for short times and run back inside to rest. Jeff, the property manager checked in to see if there was anything we needed. The location was great, next to state park beach, next to Sunapee Mountain where we went many days for the ropes course and hiking, close to Newbury and Sunapee (awesome for strolls and ice cream). The layout of the house was easy to enjoy and relax. Open concept downstairs so everyone could be together. Kids loved the bunks. The air conditioning was great also after running around outside. It was quiet, calm, and the view of the lake was beautiful.

Great house in a great location with access to many lake activities

This lake house provided great accommodations for our group of 10 (4 children and 6 adults). For the adults, this was our first time back in the Sunapee area in about 25 years and we had a great week. We enjoyed the amazing water views (especially the early morning sunrises) and lake access from the private beach. We used the kayaks and paddle board every day and the outdoor grill and fire pit several times. The house is conveniently located between the Newbury and Sunapee Harbors and very close to Mt. Sunapee, giving our group many entertainment options throughout the week. The homeowner was a pleasure to communicate with before and during our stay.

Great property with amazing view

My family had a wonderful week at this Lake Sunapee home. It was clean and comfortable with all the necessities and more. All the beds were great, and the wide open space on the main floor was perfect at meal times. With lots of small children, it was nice to be able to go from lakeside to house in a few steps for meals, naps, etc, and everyone enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board as well as sitting out by the fire pit. The property manager was friendly and helpful, and the owner was in touch at the start and end of our stay. Also, the view was spectacular, and I personally so enjoyed watching the sunrise over the lake from all those east windows. I highly recommend this property for a peaceful vacation spot, and I expect to return.

Wonderful week on the lake!

Everything in this house is wonderful! Well appointed and stocked. Steps from the water. Grassy play area outside for the kids. Outdoor shower was a big plus. Owner was incredibly responsive - Drove all the way to the house once when we had an issue with a shower. Overall a wonderful experience.

A great week for a family of 10 (including a 6 and 2 year old) to live very comfortably with nothing spared. The house is brand new , the lake was spectacular and the Crawford’s were exceptional hosts. Would love to return and highly recommend.

Great vacation home

The home is all new construction with bright clean floors, modern kitchen and comfortable beds. The association grounds are open for games while shade trees afford a respite from the sun. While the beach is great for youngsters the leafy bottom was not inviting for general swimming. We rented a pontoon boat to access other areas for swimming. The boat was not necessary as the state beach was close by.

Lakefront Luxury

This is a totally redone lakefront property and the owners are gracious hosts who make you feel welcome. It is a well-appointed and clean home with comfortable bedding, pillows, sofa and chairs. There is plenty of seating at the kitchen table, counter, and outdoors to accommodate all who are staying at the property. The showers have excellent pressure and are fitted with Price Pfister faucets with good spray patterns. The kitchen drawers and doors are soft-close. The kitchen is well-stocked with lots of dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, spices, coffee, etc. Having the option to use the kayaks and paddleboard was a nice benefit. We were surprised to find a note indicating that if we needed them, sweatshirts were available for our use! They left a basket of personal care items, just in case we forgot a necessity. Lastly, the view is spectacular! As one of our guests said, "I could wake up to this everyday!" Others in the family indicated we had found the nicest property and were putting it on their radar should they return to the area to vacation in the future. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house with an even better view!

This house is beautiful! It was the perfect size and location for our group. We had easy access to locations for the rehearsal dinner and wedding that brought us to Lake Sunapee. The amenities provided are excellent. Not only were the sheets and towels included, but all of the little things like paper products and hand soap were provided as well. It makes it a lot easier when travelling by plane. We would love to come back for a full week sometime! A big thank you to the owner and property manager for your hospitality.

Home totally renovated and beautifully decorated. Lakefront property.

Beautiful home on Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. Access to Paddleboard, 2 Kayaks and a large 4 person tube. Small beach for children with shallow swimming for them. Located in an HOA with specific rules regarding excess parking among other things. This property shares a large grassy area with 11 other property owners. We pretty much had that area to ourselves the entire week we were there. Make sure you read the information booklet left by the owner. Would have preferred a later checkout time-10:00 AM was too early-12 noon is more realistic, especially for large groups. Overall it was a wonderful week spent with family and the weather was very cooperative.

Great family vacation

The house is newly renovated and provided ample room for our 3 families and 5 grandchildren. The beach is in a shallow cove and has a roped off swimming area that was great for the little ones and gave them plenty of room to play. A paddle board and 2 kayaks were also used daily. It's conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and Mount Sunapee. The bedrooms were comfortable and the downstairs is an open floor plan with plenty of room for our crowd. It's a beautiful house and was well equipped with everything that we needed. We also met some of the very friendly neighbors and found that we had some friends in common. It was a great week and we'll definitely stay again.

Awesome find on Lake Sunapee! Beautifully decorated.

Fabulous spot with beautiful views overlooking a cove on Lake Sunapee. The house was spotless with great amenities. Maximized sleeping and a wonderful kitchen. We’ll definitely be back again!
