We loved our stay at bar beach - walking distance to Darby street and the beach and a perfect little hideaway. Only small thing was we checked in when it was dark and found it tricky to find the sign and the apartment. Our tip is go right to the back and keep on going! We had the best time in Newcastle!

Perfect Newcastle Stay!
The hideaway was perfect for a long, relaxing weekend in Newcastle, with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Comfy bed, great shower, a lovely peaceful courtyard. Great location, walkable to the city and beautiful bar beach on your doorstep. Friendly and thoughtful host. Would recommend!

Apartment is gorgeous, well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook your own meal. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, and was pleasantly surprised that there was also a washing machine. Lovely outdoor patio area which is very private. Great location, only three blocks from Bar Beach, less than 10 minute walk. Great getaway for single person or couple. The hosts live upstairs, so can be a bit noisy at times.

A perfect little one bedroomer for my regular work travel. I loved that Harris Farm was just around the corner and a 5 minute walk got me beachfront. Easy to find, immaculately clean and close to everything you could need for a short stay. Loved it and I will be back :)

Neat apartment in a great spot
Had a lovely long weekend in this apartment. It's in great spot, easy walk to Darby Street restaurants, close to the beach, and pretty much close to everything. The apartment was neat, clean and well appointed with a lovely private courtyard. It is well back from the street so is very quiet, although it's located on the ground floor at the back of a house, so you do hear a little bit of noise from the house above, but all in all a great stay.

My second time back here and liking it even more. Tastefully decorated, very quiet and private. Brilliant location close to The Junction and Darby St, couldn't ask for a better spot. The hosts are great and unobtrusive. Will be back again!
