Perfect for 3 adults.
Really pleased I picked this place for the 3 of us to stay. It was clean and perfect for us. There is a kitchen with fridge, oven and hob and a kettle if you should need them. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well. There was ample free parking outside. We were attending a show in Stoke on Trent and it was just under £10 for a taxi to the theatre. Would recommend this place to anyone needing a clean and comfortable place to stay.

The family room is clean and tidy, very spacious but need a little bit maintenance, some doors are old and need repairs. Quiet environment for staying and sleeping.

All you need!
Clean and modern room, with amenities, I was super impressed considering how reasonable the price was. Didn't hear any external noise. Curtains could be better for less incoming light in the morning but that was a minor issue. Good location, being only a 10 minute drive from the bet365 Stadium.

Very disappointing stay and no communication
Property was very disappointing. Main room smelt of burnt food and bedroom smelt of cigarette smoke. Shower in the morning was scalding so not able to use despite trying for a long time to change the settings. Message the property a few days after stay to express concerns and heard nothing back. Terrible customer service. No compensation or anything offered.

Thank you for your review. When management checked the room there was no smell of smoke or the smoke indicators in rooms showing there had been any smoke in the room. The shower was not reported to reception the next day giving us a chance for the maintenance to check and sort this. There was no attempt to report on the day to either reception or the night porter if after hours or the following day. We do not offer compensation for a complaint made after the event of staying 2 days without one complaint which all issues could have of been sorted with in an hour. Kind regards

Clearer terms and conditions needed
A lovely little hotel. We stayed in room 66 and the kitchen was well equipped with comfy beds and it was very clean. The only issue I had was the £50 pre authorisation ( which still hasn't been released back onto my card 9 days later ) If you are staying here on a budget then this may not be the place. They need to make that much clearer when booking. Have stayed here many times before and this was the first time I've been asked to pre authorise my card. This has put me off and I wouldn't stay here again.

Check in is from 2pm and 6pm only. As all guests are spoken to prior to arrival to check their arrival time. You was also contacted prior to this. We do not advertise on Hotel.com but having checked their website they also have check in until 6pm Please when leaving a review put the true facts Regards

Fantastic for the travelling workers
Nice welcome hassle free check in. Room is spacious,clean and comfortable. Small kitchen area with a 2 hot plate cooker,microwave and fridge.kettle tea coffee and sugar but they dont supply milk. Good free wifi.small but clean bathroom with a decent shower.They have a bar on site.Very reasonable price for what you get.

Very clean & comfortable. Would recommend an on site eatery though. However would recommend the cotton mill pub next to Sainsburys about a mile down the road.

Could do better
Had 3 phone calls about our visit about the trip. All 3 asking what time we were arriving. 2nd call said they would make 2 of the twin beds into a double which they didn't. Felt hassled. Apparently up graded but can't see what the upgrade was. Cups in cupboard dirty. Edges in bathroom filthy around shower tray. Needs painting around the sink in the bathroom. No No head rests on beds so walls behind need attention. Bin lid didn't fit properly. Room boiling no spare pillows. Linen clean and towels a good size.

They honestly made my holiday the best i could have asked for, i took my friend for a surprise away as she just lost her father. We checked into another hotel where i was not able to stay as the cleanliness and various other things were wrong. But i booked an hour prior to arriving and the room was perfect! I will be back very soon!

The price went up.
It's great. There's a little kitchette. The shower room is fine, and it's all clean. The WiFi works. Downsides are that its all done on the cheap. The carpet is cheap. The furniture is arranged so you can't see the TV when sitting on the sofa. Then there's the location. It's on a dual carriageway, and the building probably used to be an office. I was going to stay again, as I'm working in the area for s few months, but the price went up. And I really don't think it's worth 58 quid. 41 quid I was okay with.

We had a very warm welcome. The rooms were clean and tidy with good use of kitchen facilities in all rooms. However, We booked three twin rooms and none had hot water - cold shower in the morning and the heating was not on which made the rooms cold.

Stayed for one night as going to a gig at the Bar on site so perfectly place. Reception are very helpful and will provide anything you need (extra towels, hairdryer etc). Check in and out is fast and easy. Rooms are a good size and the kitchenette is helpful considering there arent many restaurants in the close vicinity although there are takeaways nearby and the supermarket isn't that far away. Newcastle town centre is a short taxi ride away and there are plenty of pubs and places to eat there

Basic but functional
Stay reflected the price. We needed somewhere cheap, clean with access to the road networks. Really friendly staff and only 5 min drive to bars and restaurants. Basic but functional. Could have done with some curtains to help lower traffic noise.

Didn’t Stay!
Arrived after a long drive only to find the room hadn’t been cleaned and made up after the previous guests. The receptionist was very apologetic and did offer to clean the room but I was tired and preferred to find somewhere else as they had no more rooms. From what I saw, rooms looked ok but Travelodge is a safer bet!
