I use this as a stop over before and after flying at Newcastle Airport. It’s a 7 minute walk to the terminal and it clean and the owners are friendly and very helpful especially regarding early morning departure or late night arrivals. More comfortable than the three other hotels on airport

Idea location for all types of travel and there is a good coffee shop in the garden centre and nice real pub that serves good food all within a 5 minutes walk. Location is what you expect being so close to the airport and right on the edge of town. If you need somewhere to stay the night before your flight it’s perfect! Our room was spacious, and we had tea & coffee making available. On the first night it was warm, but the second night it was cold and the heating didn’t come on in the morning even. We stayed to visit family who live in Ponteland, so without a car it was a challenge. Overall, I felt it was expensive for room only (as advertised) and based on location would not book again.

Staff members extremely helpful and the room is spacious enough for single occupancy. Tea and coffee facilities are available and the bathroom is adequate with my preference of a walk in shower. Ponteland is a 20 minute walk where there is extensive bars and restaurants. Newcastle is a short drive away and also is accessible by the metro line from the airport terminal, which is a 5 minutes walk from the property.

This property was perfect for an overnight stay near the Newcastle airport. The hotel is easily reached on foot via a pedestrian trail. The hosts were very friendly. There are no close amenities other than fast pre-packaged breakfast options from convenience marts.

Outstanding, if bijou, place to stay. By no means 5 star, but at this price point you would be daft to expect it. What you get is a very small room with a clean and comfortable bed and a shower with plenty of hot water at excellent pressure! And the owners couldn’t be nicer! It was a nice taste of real, northern hospitality.
