Outstanding place to stay. Was a great experience. The only downside is that it is indeed extremely pricey. Could also have explained the amenities a little better such as pool, wt room, in room amenities, etc. Breakfast was great and overall experience was lovely. Definitely make a stop at the gardens for a walk through.

From the moment I checked in to the castle to the day we left I had nothing but positive interactions with the hotel staff. The Castle was clean and impeccably maintained, the staff were helpful, polite and easy to talk to. Our group took advantage of the Skeet shooting range and had a great time with our shooting Instructor who had a great personality and full of knowledge and experience. Will be back again!!!

Staying at Dromoland Castle was like a dream come true. From the minute we drove in the front gate and were warmly welcomed to the staff who took our car, the bar staff in the incredibly beautiful bar to the lady who showed us our room, everything was exceptional. Rooms were lovely. The grounds were incredible. Walking around in the sunshine along the lake and walking through the walled garden were all highlights. Would return again in a heartbeat. Great way to conclude our stay in Ireland!

This was the highlight of the trip for my kids. Staying at a castle is pretty sweet but the Dromoland service made all the difference. From personalized little gifts to the kids, to the falconry and archery experiences, to the bike rides in the beautiful property. We don't golf, but the golf course looked very nice. We will be back!
