St Austell Newquay hotels

"Was thoroughly impressed with the full package on offer at SeaSpace. Great rooms and lots of additional facilities (amazing pool area, kids playgrounds, games room, laundry etc) to keep everyone happy. I know it's an aparthotel but my one gripe is that they didn't clean the rooms or change the sheets/towels. We stayed for a week and by the end things were a little sandy/musty. We could have chosen to pay for new towels and a mid stay clean but it felt like that kind of thing should be offered as the hotel part of being an aparthotel. Aside from that, loved it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend."

"We had family recommend Lewinnick, and we were not disappointed. The room was perfect, and we adored being able to go on all the nearby walks, etc. The bed was wonderful, but it would have been nice to have a couple of spare pillows in the (empty!) chest in the room for additional comfort. But I cannot complain - it was fantastic as is. The food was great, but I feel there could be a couple of tweaks. For eg. my husband ordered the bakewell tart, and it arrived cold. I would expect things like that to be warm as standard, and the baked beans for breakfast to be freshly warmed and everything freshly cooked. Just a suggestion, not a complaint. We had a wonderful time, and the food was very nice. "

"Beautiful hotel, parking is available but limited with very tight spaces and on a hill so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Spa was lovely, staff were amazing, room was spacious. We didn't pay for a sea view, so our view was out onto a very run down and filthy roof top which made it feel more like being in the middle of a deprived city area rather than beautiful seaside resort. It didn't affect our stay, but worth knowing if you're planning a romantic getaway. "

"Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast, great room and relaxing stay. We stayed in a triple room and there was plenty of room for us. Double bed was huge and very comfortable. "
