This place was amazing. Great custom order breakfast. Rooms were great. Near a nice street to shop and just down the road from a place for groceries if needed. Owners were nice and accommodating. Parking lot does get full at night as it’s a pub/restarting as well.

Hjertevarm velkomst

Vi fik en hjertevarm velkomst på hotellet og fandt op på vores værelse, som var stort, rent og hyggeligt indrettet. Vi spiste i hotellets restaurant om aftenen, fik os en veltillavet skotsk havis, pints af øl samt en dram til vores dessert. Opholdet var incl. morgenmad, hvor vi kunne vælge mellem forskellige varme ting til morgenmad, god kaffe og buffet med frugt, yoghurt, ost mv. Vi følte os rigtig godt behandlet som gæster her. Newtonmore var den skønneste lille landsby at besøge. Vi fik the Wildcat traile, dette kan varmt anbefales. Vi tog lutter gode minder med os derfra.

We originally had another place booked, but after visiting the breathtaking Glencoe and Fort William area, we decided on a whim to stay one more night nearby. We made a same-day booking at The Glen Hotel, and it was one of the best decisions of our trip. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which truly made us feel at home. But what stood out the most was the breakfast — each guest’s order was taken individually and prepared with care. It was unlike anything we’ve experienced elsewhere, and it made for a truly memorable morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or exploring the area. It was a beautiful and heartwarming experience.

Eventhough hotel sent a message about their employee vacancy, no bar and restaurant didn't open at Sunday and Monday nights. It looks like a ghost hotel. This info noticed only in Hotels.com message and not to my email to reconsider this reservation. All the facilities are very much old and inconvenient including not serving the new towel everyday. Due to all those reason, they serve free Tuesday continental breakfast, but it is hard to believe that will compensate the money for my booking. I can't believe why this hotel got higher review point.

Good communication

We had booked into the Glen to break our journey from Harris to Edinburgh and unfortunately delayed by both ferry and 40 mile diversion. The level of communication from the hotel was excellent and they were very accommodating in regard to our much later arrival. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent

Lovely little gem! We stayed one night and the room was very spacious and clean. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was good pub food. All in all great stay :)
