Derry is a great city, the guided walk is highly recommended. We did the Giants Causeway by train and bus for the scenery and Malin Head was amazing. “First, I have to say Michael was an excellent host. I got sick the first night there (obviously picked up in Dublin). Soon almost all of our party was down. Michael went above and beyond to help us, from offering to pick up grocery items, delivering wood and briquettes for the fire, and even bringing a pot of stew his mother made for us. “Beautiful property, lovely views out over the valley and owner has retained great original features from old barn but combined them with modern comfort. The owners were fab, very welcoming, genuinely interested in where we were going on our day trips but not intrusive. The welcome pack of bread, butter, jam, coffee and milk etc. was a lovely touch - would really recommend this as a great place to stay and in a central location for touring western Northern Ireland and for Donegal.”
