  • Alnwick cottage is situated approx a 15 minute walk from probably the prettiest main street in Canada. The cottage is quaint and comfortable.The rental cottage is annexed to the main house..The photograph on VRBO is the front cottage where I live..The rear cottage is completely private.. Consisting of 2 nicely decorated bedrooms both with double beds. Cozy living room, the kitchen is galley style with full size appliances plus all the extras coffee maker, microwave, toaster, electric kettle.the rate shown is based on a 2 person occupancy..extra guests are a $25 per person per night charge..

    1 bathroom all towels, soaps, shampoos provided. A charming screened sunporch/carport for lounging or dining in a bug free environment. The lovely gardens are available for your enjoyment, barbecue on the gas barbecue, or lounge on the patio, a quiet nook is available under the apple tree for peaceful moments, reading or enjoying the many resident birds and squirrels.

    The yard is fenced ,perfect for children and pets.

    All linens, towels, kitchen dishes, glasses, etc are supplied. Everything you could possibly need.

    If anyone checks out google street views the house showing is 150 ft south of us,driving me crazy getting google to change it,what happened to our privacy.

Alnwick Cottage is a wonderful spot for a quiet getaway in Niagara on the Lake. So quaint and comfortable. Great location within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants - yet far enough away from the hustle bustle of tourist shoppers.

Great location! Very near Queen street with shops and restaurants, and a few wineries and other eateries, so you can avoid your car.Pet friendly! Great fenced garden area and lanai for the pups. Plus plenty of local parks.Well-stocked! The host thought of everything. And we were provided with fresh towels more than we needed.The interior is compact, but the expansize lanai and backyard more than made up for that. Host was very communicative and fixed a small plumbing problem very quickly.We will definitely stay again next time we're in the area

Alnwick cottage was completely furnished with everything we might need. It was clean and comfortable. PAULINE, was an added bonus, offering tips and advice.The cottage was perfectly located, an easy walk to downtown and Lake Ontario. The gardens surrounding the property were quite inviting, calling us outside to relax and enjoy.Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The apartment was clean and well-equipped. Pauline was lovely and communications leading up to our trip were easy. You have access to a spacious sunroom and beautifully-landscaped backyard. Downtown, theatres and restaurants were all an easy and scenic walk away, we parked on arrival and didn’t use the car until we departed. The apartment which is attached to the back of the main house is private but quite cozy, it would be tight for more than two guests. Would visit again!

We spent a long weekend to attend the Shaw Festival and do some exploring on bike. The location of the accommodations was excellent and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The host was prompt with communication. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were quite surprised with the cottage, it was not what we expected, when we booked it it never stated that it was the back of a house and the owner was at the front of the house.should advertise those details. It was a small place enough for two adult , it was clean the beds were really hard. No outlets in bathroom to use.Parking is very small area. We made due with what we had, we ended up leaving early.
