「We had the most lovely stay at Antico Borgo Etneo. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station, the property is gorgeous, our room was very clean and relatively cool considering we were in the middle of a heat wave. Great hospitality and a scrumptious breakfast (we’ll be thinking about that lemon chiffon cake for ages). We would stay again the next time in Calatabiano. Grazie a tutti!」

「Nel complesso esperienza molto positiva. Ho trovato il letto un pò scomodo (ma quello è più un mio problema, sono molto esigente sui materassi. Molto pulito, in bagno gli asciugamani profumavano! Un pò bassino il lavandino.. Ma anche lì magari ero io un pò troppo alta. Ha il parcheggio interno, abbiamo fatto un ottima colazione e siamo stati serviti bene con molta gentilezza ed educazione! 」

「Cosa si può scrivere di questa struttura, se non magnificare l'eccellenza? Veramente difficile trovare il classico "pelo nell'uovo". Abbiamo usato la SPA (ad uso esclusivo), abbiamo cenato al ristorante (decisamente tra i top dell'intera Sicilia), abbiamo goduto di una sistemazione confortevole e rilassante. Questa è una delle "experience" da provare almeno una volta nella vita.」

「Overall a nice stay. The property itself is very dated and needs a renovation/upgrade. But the service at breakfast, and the views from the upgraded rooms are great. Standard rooms are not great. Reception staff average. Gym needs more weights/equipment (but decent room). Some small improvements (aside from a total refresh/renovation) would make a huge difference.」

「Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub auf Sizilien. Die Anlage ist wunderschön grün, malerisch am Fuße des Ätnas gelegen, mit tollem hoteleigenen Strand und Pools. Allerdings hat man bei unserem Aufenthalt (Mai/Juni 2026) noch sehr gemerkt, dass die Anlage in einer Renovierungsphase war bzw. in der Vorbereitung für die Hauptsaison: Einige Bars und Restaurants wurden erst im Lauf der Reise oder gar nicht geöffnet. Von einigen Stellen kam viel Baulärm weil an allen Ecken und Enden geschraubt wurde....

Petit bémol c'est au deuxième sans ascenceur , un peu difficile pour des personnes d'un certain âge . Heureusement le propriétaire vous monte les valises .」
